Hi! Thanks for clicking on my video! Great question, I should have addressed this and maybe I’ll make a whole video about it because I’ve really learned a lot about purchasing in the last few months
There isn’t one by me either! So to answer your question: If you are buying from a Chanel boutique, you have to have a purchase history as *most stores are closed because of the pandemic and they have to do phone orders (also if you don’t have a location near you they will have to ship to you). This means if you’ve never bought anything from a standalone boutique, you cannot purchase from them. That was the case for me. I have purchase history through Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom so if you’ve ever bought from any of those stores in general I believe you can go through them! It sometimes depends though as some stores are leased within department stores. Let me know if that helps, and definitely call around! I don’t live in California, but that’s where I was able to source this bag from and they sent it:)

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! And it was a really tough decision because it is such a big purchase. Honestly, I'm in no position to buy a medium classic flap in black right now. Of course that's the goal, but I just don't have 7k laying around. I also feel like that is soooo much money to save and then spend in one place. So that's why I wanted to start small. But I still wanted it to be classic. The mini rectangular price for a fabric bag seemed fair to me, and I loved that it was so different to what everyone else had. If no seasonal bags are catching your eye and you don't want to spend a ton, I'd honestly go with a classic flap as far as the style, and since I love mini bags I'd get the rectangular mini in black lambskin. But it totally depends on your style, what colors you wear, and ultimately personal preference. I hope this helps:)
