Must be interesting for Mama'nis knowing that your daughter is actually very successful but at the same time can't tell anyone. Especially for Asian culture where parents behind the scenes like to compare how successful their children are to other parents. Ha, I’m in a somewhat similar situation, unfortunately.
Mid 20s, haven’t been able to find employment. PhD fell through, leaving me somewhat skilled in many areas but not employable.
If it weren’t for my family’s support, I’d have been homeless for several months already, if not more. I’m trying to figure things out, but with how things are going, my family can’t afford to support me for much longer, nor do I want to be a neet much longer. everyone’s a bit different.

Same bud, tho my problem was trying to find jobs that were way above my skill levels with competitions from people that are more skilled in soft skills areas. 7 months in, If I want to get a job by next year I really need to stop and find something around my skill level
same here. I just want to get my life back together but I keep failing. It's affecting my mental health so much that there are times where I don't want to leave my house anymore.

ive been out of job for over a year now. my savings run out and ive been reliant on my parents for the past 2 months now. thankfully i got a job starting this december.
I'm also going through hard times finding a new job..I think about it too much and it actually affected my mental health for the past couple month..I hope all of us who faces the similar circumstances will succeed in the near future..

These past couple years have been pretty rough for me mentally (nothing serious, don’t worry), and I haven’t been able to find employment myself, still here living with my mom. I am thankful to have a family that is able and willing to support me, but I know that I have to find something to do to support myself.
It’s just that my motivation’s been pretty low, and the lazy life has consumed me in this stupid pandemic…It sucks, but I’ll get through it.
It takes a special kind of person to be able to work from their bedroom for countless hours a day. I think a lot of people realized that this isn’t exactly the dream during this pandemic. I have mad respect for all the girls and what they’re able to accomplish.

Family, as in those that aren't in the immediate house hold. Your aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews from both sides of the family. Her parents definitely knows, she spoke of them watching her streams before.

Hey, I just want to say, even though it's difficult to believe right now, it does get better. It might not be easy (hell I know it isn't from personal experience), but it will get better. The only way to guarantee it won't get better is if you end it. Because you are not a weight dragging anyone or anything down. You are a person, no worse than anyone else, and just you being here, alive, matters. The only way for a person to be dead weight to anyone is if they're dead, because as long as you are alive you are a tiny marvel of a fraction of the universe experiencing itself. And you deserve to experience all the happy moments you still have lying ahead in your future, and I hope you do get to enjoy them all to the fullest.
I know the words of a random stranger on the internet don't carry much weight, but there are always people willing to listen. Your family, first of all. Your friends. There are also hotlines dedicated to this, and sites about mental health with forums to talk about that stuff. Hell, You could talk to people from here (although You might want to use private messages).
Your feelings are important. You are not alone. I myself failed university 3 times, many others have similar problems. And one thing I can tell You, one thing I learned from all that frustration, is that there is always a way forward. Though it took me a long time to see my own.
Just remember. You matter. More than you realize.

@@Oburi7 Improving Your mental health through medicine is definitely not the best way do go about it. Have You tried talking to someone about it? Like someone close to You, for example? You could also try therapy. I know talking to a therapist helped Me with My problems.
There are, finally, hotlines for that, You could very easily find your country's one here: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_suicide_crisis_lines. You could try calling it. The worst that can happen is that it wont help.

It's more American culture that looks down upon living with your parents. But freeloading is universally looked down upon haha.
