Frankly, this is awesome - whilst this isn't some major technological leap, the investment you guys have made into a "finished" product in order to make it even better deserves a standing ovation. These new features - especially drum pattern length - dramatically improve the utility of an already outstanding product. Nice job guys!

Circuit continues to be one of the greatest machines ever created. I have one request that I know has been asked before, and I don't hold it against it the team if it is never implemented, the team does amazing work and I am thankful for all of the new updates and features. My request is to have the outputs become assignable, for instance have Synths coming out of output 1 and drums out of output 2. I use an octatrack to sample and loop and it would be awesome to maintain the sequenced drum beat from circuit and use octatrack loop machine to loop synth patches from the circuit. Anyway, again, you all do amazing stuff and I have logged incredible amounts of hours and fun with my circuit. I can't recommend it enough for any one of any skill level. Thanks novation!
Really awesome update. I am loving the updates your web guys have done also - the Components site is really awesome. I am especially impressed with the site using Web MIDI to even restart Circuit in bootloader mode! Easiest updates ever! I guess people are running out of things to wish for with Circuit, because you guys keep delivering! :-) If it were possible to have a special "edit patch" mode on the device (so we could edit the synth sounds without the need for a computer editor), that would be killer! I guess thats my wish - I'd love to do patch creation on the device without the need for anything else! Thanks again for the update - its amazing as always!
I just ordered a circuit and i have a feature request: I understand that this has probably been asked before, but I would like circuit to receive two extra midi tracks through sort of key combination, this would allow for better integration with external gear, which would be awesome. (I will mostly use the circuit as a midi sequencer). Would love it if this was implemented (should be possible right😊). Ps kudo's to Novation for their support for their gear, love my x-station and supernova 2.
this may be a bit late, but I recall there is a feature where you can hold down a certain pad or something to change the "power level" which dims the lights. That or i'm thinking of the Launchpad. Ill go see if I can confirm it.

I've upgraded my Circuit's firmware. I welcome the addition of drum pattern length and quick pattern change. I am however sad not to be able to access the new patches/samples/demos because Components webware has not improved its accessibility. As a screenreader user who controls his PC solely via keyboard, the drag'n'drop Components UI is not accessible. Requesting an accessible way to up/down-load sessions, patches and samples. Thanks.
Novation could mention firmware update can be done with otg cable in an Android phone, as long as Chrome browser is used. I did mine successfully on a Galaxy s3 with a slowish 3g signal.
Is it safe to upgrade? Will I lose my own sessions (pads 17-32)? Do I need to back them up before upgrading? Is there a list of new patches/samples and which have been dropped? (I hope the kick designer, snare designer and those noise generation patches are gone). Any chance of adding "solo" to mixer (shift+pads 1,3,5,6,7,8)? Another feature request would be Flux mode and/or adjustable quantise.
Do Circuit support audio export (Ableton/wav) yet? It would be great if , in a future update, it supported separate outs through USB. Dunno if it's possible though.
it is a pity the standalone synth editor from isotonik is not real-time, users must guess what their tweaks will sound like (( and a machine that claims to be "a portable standalone groove box" has an online web based sample editor.. I'm really disappointed in Novation's strategy for editors on the circuit. If you have a studio and workflow, this unit might not work for you.

Novation the code for Ableton Live 9 Lite that arrived with my launchpad MK2 is invalid. I contacted you via E-mail and its been more than 24hours and i still have no response, please help.
I hoping someone would be able to let me know if this is possible as I have looked on the web for ages and have been unable to find an answer. Would I be able to on this device load samples onto all of the pads and play them without using the sequencer? Almost like if you were to take a launchpad and let it work by itself without a computer or anything. Would I also then be able to loop what I play without it being locked down to a grid or quantized. If this device doesn't let me do that, then does anyone have any recommendations of something that does? Thanks for any input :) (I know the youtube comment section probably isn't the best place for this but I have nowhere else to ask)
this thing is turning into a real machine it's too bad I returned it and don't want to buy it ever again, i'm just going to save for something more expensive maybe from nord.

Yeah, that would be amazing, but i think it's pretty tough to add that feature unless it was planned from the launch (as with Overbridge.)
