Over the weekend, me and my family went to the “iconic” Wilderness at the Smokies to celebrate my 18th birthday. It’s the first time we had been in almost 3 years. To say I’m back at this place is a major understatement.
As you saw in the room tour, they did a major renovation to the resort. Not just in the rooms on the Wyndham side, but all the “fun spots” on-site, too. Everything from the expansion of the indoor waterpark, the new rooftop patio (which you saw in the outro), to everything in between - it’s all new and completely different unlike before.
As I’ve alluded to in the past, the Wilderness is a go-to spot for both family getaways AND the legendary content on F6216. The Wilderness videos are how I got my start on TH-cam more than a decade ago (quite surprising, but it’s true).
All along, given my great ability, I knew it made sense to do some form of a vlog while on the trip. It’s not the great big vlogs you’re used to seeing, but it makes do. I was too focused on the trip itself rather than the TH-cam content - and that, to me, made sense.
All in all, I’ll give this trip a 10/10. This one is no exception to all the other Wilderness trips and videos I’ve done before. It’s just like what you’re accustomed to seeing. Same Wilderness content, different looks all around.
