If they wanted to pick good British snacks it would be things like Skittles, Cadbury chocolate, Starbursts, Maltesers, Kit Kats etc. They have to leave out all the good British stuff because its all been exported around the world already. Also things like meat pies are also from Britain, same with fish and chips, a lot of the actual food they eat in Australia is British.

It's the same sort of product, though having tried Vegiemite (it's good, nice one AUS!), Marmite is slightly less salty. Also Ginger nuts are great but Penguins are the right competitor to Timtams (They also make good straws too). Britain was set up to fail here, but I'm always happy to watch Volk. He's great on the camera, very natural.

I highly recommend whittaker’s chocolate if you ever go back out. Genuinely the best chocolate i’ve ever had, and as a brit i’d like to think our range of chocolate is pretty solid

In terms of culinary knowledge, us Aussies are probably bottom tier even below the English but one thing I am proud of is the TimTam slam. It's Australia's magnum opus.
Culinary knowledge isn't that impressive if that knowledge leads you to serving baked beans in every dish... Whether or not our knowledge is better we still have way better food than they do. Fresher produce, higher food safety standards, more variety, Sydney is known for having the highest quality Thai food on earth... Better than Thailand.
