This season forced Jukebox to grow up a lot faster than Kanan. She has way more insight about what's actually going on in their lives than her cousin.

Raq is obsessed with power and that's going to be her downfall. Lou-Lou saw right through her bs and that's why her looked at he like she was crazy. Lou-Lou is the only adult out of the three siblings that wants to keep the kids out of the game and that's why he was never happy about killing D-Wiz.

I thought the same with scene, with Lou and Raq. Raq definitely was giving ruthless, relentless vibes. Her character seems stronger than both of her brothers , that stands out to me.

The dialogue between Juke and Kanan gives more insight into why he eventually killed her. She knew who he really was and always made him look himself in the mirror and see he was a fuck up. Some can’t handle the truth.

I think kanan’s blood being on the jacket won’t be a factor only because him and detective Howard are related. If they test the blood, it’ll be categorized as a partial match…. It’s just like when Tariq shot that cop…when detective Blanca found tariq’s blood at the scene, she later on compared the blood sample to ghost dna from the glass he left… that test came out as a partial match for ghost…

Kanan in the OG Power had a crew of dudes from DC which isn't far from Maryland. That's also where Jukebox was a cop at.
Maybe DC is where he toughens up and really learns the streets and then he uses that experience to take over the Southside before meeting Ghost & Tommy.

He says “you ain’t a killer until you kill someone you love” plus when Raq told him she killed D-Wizz and the look on his face when Jukebox told him she just had him hit a cop. Also when you add in the fact Kanan told Tariq he had to be the one to kill Ghost because Ghost wouldn’t see it coming and Raq told Kanan the same thing about killing the detective. All adds up to make Kanan a sting candidate for killing Raq in the future

I remember when Kanan was in the police station earlier in the season and he had blood on a tissue after that fight with Scrappy! The way Detective Howard looked at that tissue made me think he was planning on getting it tested so he would know for sure if that was his son! Idk 🤔🤔

I'm seeing a parallel between Kanan and Tariq. I feel like their "mistakes" and trigger-happy mentality could be blamed on them being young and arrogant (acting/thinking they're grown). Otherwise, it has to be that Tariq learnt his initial (continued??) fcuked-upness from Kanan who never changed.

If Howard says Kanan is truly responsible for his attempted murder, the DNA can still come back as his (considering Kanan is his son). Kanan may be safe all around regardless, his mother is going to go out in a petty way though. Kanan's dialogue towards the end is true foreshadowing of his mothers possible betrayal.
It's 1991 DNA wasn't being used. This would be a case that would get overturned in 20 years type of thing.

@@TrystonTX nahh I think at this age tariq has more killer in him than kanan. Kanan couldn’t pop detective Howard in the head. Tariq has already killed 3 people with little to no hesitation…. He killed a cop(head shot), his pops(one to the chest and sent him to the first floor, and the teacher(finished him with a head shot). I don’t like Tariq but at this point Tariq has more bodies and hasn’t killed anyone with his drug supply lol.

Kanaan has the same blood as Howard, so it would make sense that his blood type would be on the jacket. (Blood type is rare)

I give this season B- overall. Kayan is meh but Jukebox and Raq are OUTSTANDING and saves this series. The young actress portraying Jukebox is particularly strong and intriguing otherwise I would have given this season a D+
Security footage at the tailor shop will help unique out also the blood on the jacket. BUT! Det Howard will probably say it was unique when he hears what’s being said about who shot him
