i did see you today... you were sneaking down to the front of the Galaxy stage for the Doug Chiang chat, 🏃♂hope you had a great celebration, safe travels back home.
I saw you today at the Doug Chiang panel looking for a seat. It was easy to spot a tall guy in an officers hat. We looked at each other too 😂😂. I hope you had an excellent time man! I certainly did.
@@StarWarsCollected I have reeled back expectations for Hayden & Ian Mcdiarmand photo and panel access. Appreciate the video a lot. Hopefully see you there!
See you there. It’s awesome. This will be my 3rd at London. The first one we all had too much to drink and had a lightsabre battle in the evening across The bridge lol. It’s awesome. Bring your camera.
Custom House is the best stop for the DLR as the eastern entrance is closed. This is due to building works that have going on for a while. You can only enter at the Western end. This was published a while ago
This is my first celebration, and I have to say, when you said the thing about getting emotional, it was as if you could see right through me! Tysm for this informative video and hopefully I’ll see you there!! (I’ll be the worst dressed Ahsoka there! 😂)
Correction here: DLR is the Docklands Light Railway and is different from the 'Tube'. It is a good option for Excel though and there is the new 'Elizabeth Line' on the Tube which also takes you right outside Excel. Ubers/taxis are more expensive partly because of the heavy traffic. Best options are tube and DLR; buses get to use bus lanes but will also get caught in traffic but if there's engineering work affecting tube services, buses are a good (albeit slower) alternative.
Great video, big thanks for it, best vital information-packed video I’ve seen in recent days. I’m wondering if there’s any chance to buy a ticket to some panels? If that’s the way it works, cuz I dunno really know. I just bought 4-day ticket yesterday and decided to come for Celebration from Poland for the first time, so like I said, I don’t really know about most of the stuff, even though you gave me decent enough insight for a start.
Wow, a Jedi Master in our midsts! The most you'd be able to do is find someone who has a ticket for that panel and purchase it from them, however, they do claim they'll be checking photo IDs in addition to scanning QR codes. There are statements online about standby lines for the big panels though, so you could attempt it... just don't expect to get in. The facility is much smaller than the ones Celebration has been held in for the past couple of years, so I don't know how many extra seats will end up being available.
When should I ge inline before he doors open, when I have tickets for a panel at 11? Because for me it would make noo sense at all to be there at 8 or 9, but I've never been to a celebration. Are the lines long to get into the building? I got into the Lucasfilm Panel at the galaxy stage on Friday.. I thought about getting there by 9.30, so I have about an hour until I need to be at the panel
So no matter what you do, people will be there before 8am day off, even if they are told not to be, so just consider how close do you want to be to the stage. If you don't particularly care, you just want in, then 9:30 may be fine. As for entry procedures, this might be helpful: If you already have your badge and you have a reservation to the first panel of the day on the Celebration Stage, join the Celebration Stage Reservations Only queue. You must show your proof of reservation (QR code) and photo ID. You will receive a wristband that grants access to the 11:00 AM Celebration Stage panel.
Getting really hyped for the celebration! I was at the one in 2013 in Germany, Essen as a kid and this will be my second one :D Regarding the autographs, will I really only be able to get one thing signed? I'm a huge Lego Star Wars collector and I was planning to bring like 3-4 different C-3PO sets with me to get them signed from Anthony Daniels, do you think there's a possibility he'll sign them all or at least more then 1? 😅😊 Thanks for the awesome video, really helped me to get into the mood, will make sure to also watch the movies again to get into the mood even more :D
You can always ask… but the safest thing to do would be to buy more autographs if it’s a make or break type thing for you. Most of the time they have a handler that you talk to first, what you’d like signed, where, and what color of marker. Their whole job is efficiency, so not much chance they’re going to let you do more than the one. Wish I had a different answer for you! But Daniels was a fun meet when I met him in Chicago!
quick question because my mums disabled and on the star wars celebration website it says for the panels: ( Accessible seating will be filled prior to general seating. If you are not in the designated line by the time we release the queue, there may not be accessible seating available when you arrive.) so does this mean that even though we didnt win any panles on the lottery we are still able to que up to get into it?
It’s possible they have excess accessible seating at the panels that they would be happy to fill. But I think this is information for all of the other non-lottery panels throughout Celebration.
