I am completely fluent in Spanish and English (my English is slightly better even though Spanish is my first language, but that's because I've lived in America for so long), and it's so fun to see my friends' faces when I switch between languages or when I find someone else that's bilingual because then we an screw with people's minds. It's really fun, and it opens a lot of doors when it comes to college or work (I'm still a highschool freshmen, but still) when you know more than one language.
Most of korean-american speaks korean a bit differently with normal koreans, in terms of their pronounciation or intonation. But Yeun is very very similar, enough to star in korean soap operas and movies like that. I know he is such a big actor, but i hope him one day to show up in korean TVs and screens too...

I'm not an expert but if my opinions can work helpful to you, I'm glad to share what I thought for many years about differences between two languages. I think "ㄹ" is quite difficult for English speakers. So you should practice it if you wanna sound very natural. It doesn't sound natural when non-natives pronounce ㄹ like L. ㄹ sound different from R or L, you should place your tongue somewhere between R and L. Also, each letter in Korean sentences have the same length of time (monotonous rhythm) so 버스(Bus) is not like 버~스(Bus). It's like 버.스. (Bu. S.) Here, Bu and S sound the same length of time. + double vowel sounds like ㄲ, ㅆ, ㅉ, ㅃ, ㄸ. When it comes to grammar, Korean is more versatile(changable) in word order compared to English. The subject of a sentence is skipped far more often in Korean than in English. It's because we read between the lines and just skip it when we think it's not necessary to mention. Because we don't really strictly follow a pronouns system (he, she, it, they...). So You'd better see and observe many authentic examples spoke by Korean natives.

And since he is korean-American and he probably mostly spoke korean with people who also has the old Seoul accent, he was able to preserve the accent although he is young

steven yeun played one of the main characters in a korean movie called 'burning' (버닝 in korean)!!!! the whole movie is in korean. I would definitely recommend everyone to watch this movie. it is, without a single doubt the best movie i have ever seen in my life, and let me tell you, i watched a lot of movies and that was by far the best one. It will blow your mind. it will make you want to watch it over and over again. I'ts incredibly breathtakingly genius.
