I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

4:11 It’s interesting that you mentioned how it seemed like they were being controlled like marionettes because they played with that idea a lot in their name chapter concept trailer (they also incorporated more shadow play which was super cool and effective). That concept trailer is still one of my favourite things txt has ever done, it’s got so many beautiful elements, it really is a piece of art - I’d definitely recommend you check it out (even just in your own time).
10:26 I actually think these are the concepts Kai really shines in. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the Frost special performance video but for me, him and Yeonjun really committed and embodied that concept. In their doc that got released last week there’s a part where Kai got so immersed in the concept while performing Frost that he managed to give himself a nose bleed.

The fact that you didn't know Kai absolutely DEVOURS crazy/psycho concept shows that you didn't watch the Frost performance or already forgot about it😂😂 all the members are good at it but Yeonjun and Kai are the best. That's probably why it's them doing this Mix&Max.

The dance is based off their Temptation concept trailer 6:33 (I highly recommend if you haven’t watched it! It’s insane). It fits in perfect with their album storyline.

I'm not a dancer, so I appreciate the details you point out about their movements, lines, expressions, etc. Great reaction and it is an artistic masterpiece! So proud of both Yeonjun & HueningKai. I think more bravery was required for Kai - dancing along side the "it" boy - but he nailed the whole performance. The dance practice video will be out in a few days - I'm sure it will be insightful. Kai said Yeonjun helped him a lot.

They said that the storyline was two good boys being tempted by the devil and in the end letting that side win over them. That's why they change from like ''cute little childs clothing'' to more mature, sexy clothing as the song switches.
