That was a nice walk around, that's the thing I like most about your videos Kevin I also have to say I never realised the resort was so big and established I always thought Los Cristianos was a new place that had sprung up in the last 40 years but you have shown it has some nice picturesque back streets.
Greetings from La Gomera, where I’m living. A 50 minute ferry ride away, and it’s perfectly calm 😊 No tourists except a few walkers. This looks like Disneyland to me.

Andrew knight just did an excursion to La Palma on the ferry. La palma looks amazing, proper Spanish villages and towns. The lava had a big impact on the roads and landscape however. But well worth a visit. Seems most brits go to same places every year.
Agree Kevin accommodation in Dec to March are very expensive Trying to book for Dec & prices for flights are also so high We are hoping to go to Tenerife in Dec It is a great place to be this time of year & you are right supply & demand dictate high prices 👍👍x
I would say hotel prices have gone up a good 60% in the last 5 years. We used to get 2 bedroom self-catering apartment for £75-80pn in March - now it's about £120-130pn and sold out 6 month beforehand. Few regulars I have spoken to have said they will be going elsewhere as the hotel prices are getting out of hand.
I was in Madeira over Christmas, first time. It was busy, a taxi driver told me they don't have a low season. Tenerife was our first choice but the flights to Funchal were so cheap, turns out it was the right decision as it snowed in Tenerife over Christmas.
Ps, if you prefer beach holidays Madeira wouldn't be for you, although there is the island of Porto Santo nearby that has amazing beaches but has limited serviced and facilities = peaceful with low visitor numbers.
I now go prefer the Canary Islands in peak summer to the Med. The Med is too hot, whereas the Canary's are slightly less hot. And they have a lovely breeze that's far more enjoyable than the oppressive heat of the Med.
Hi Kevin nice location good viewing .Listen Kevin Tenerife especially the South and this is after 43 years of going and nearly 30 visits has no Really Low Season it is peak 11 and a half months a year and if anyone gets a price they think is not to far out of the way Book it .Thanks Kevin. David
Hi Kevin , got 11 nights in June for £1553 , 2 of us at Ore Negro with Jet 2. Fantastic value . Alot cheaper than mainland Spain. Yes much longer flight but worth it. That's with my better half. Out in March with the lads £420 4 nights in the Columbus. Cannot wait. Keep safe , keep up the vlogs. Say hi to Gary at the Haifischbar for me.
@@rorygordon8358 we are considering going s/c next time we go away because in our opinion the food in even a 4 star hotel these days is not good. Standards have definitely dropped.🙄

There was a few restaurants (Bora Bora) that did very cheap set menus in Los Americas & Adeje. Three course for 7 or 8 euro max. How much are the set menus in Los Americas & Adeje now?
I find Gran Canaria is the same. We came back on Saturday. Where we go is choc a bloc with Scandinavians between October and March. That is their high season. Some restaurants where we go, close June, July and August because it’s just not busy enough.
In the past we would visit Tenerife and Gran Canaria twice a year, but packages have got ridiculously expensive now so we have stopped. However La Palma is a lot better value. Far less tourists. Quality restaurants at fair prices.
It’s awful they punish tourists who feed the Islanders and people who have businesses over there. I like Tenerife but prefer Marbella and Mallorca now in the summer winter holidays don’t interest me at all. Great informative vlog Kevin x
I think anybody who pays these hotel prices for a basic room are crazy. We stay in Santa Cruz in an former AirBnb and it costs us 160 per week or 100 euro for a single room. Your probably thinking it is a slum but in fact it is a lovely apartment on the 4th floor with a balcony over looking the cruise port. I'm retired so I can book return flights from Dublin to TFS when they are cheap and we use the Titsa bus to tour around the island a month on each trip.
