The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi a few days after the Goa legislative assembly brought up the subject of water scarcity, requesting that the Center provide funds to upgrade Goa's water supply. As part of the Center's financial investment, Dempo listed a number of initiatives that Goa can adopt.
"GCCI has written letter to PM thanking him for accepting most of the proposals recommended by the GCCI," said president Srinivas Dempo. He also said that State will consider options from more schemes.

The present Pappu CM is controlled by burocrates that was not the case with Manohar Parrikar he was intelligent and not Pappu like Pramod Sawant.
