I feel such a genuine sadness for his son. Seeing all the love his father garnered from the whole community it’s heartbreaking to realize what he lost out on. The moments he was robbed of. The phrase "cut down in his prime" is cliche at this point which is a shame, because it perfectly captured what happened here. His kids are so young, which means he waited until a little later in life to start his family. He had so much talent and that talent was denied creatively for so long. Even then, because he loves his family so much he considered ignoring his own personal gratification for the benefit of his family. Literally, just this year so much of it was coming together for him and the tragedy is he was still denied so much. He was denied the pop from the crowd of his surprise entrance at Rochester. He was denied the world title run that was almost certainly in the offing in the near future. He was denied the extended tenure at the top of the hottest faction in wrestling-a faction that was as hot as it was largely because of him personally.
Most tragically, he was denied so many days with his family. Denied seeing his sons graduate or get married. Denied seeing them have children. Denied a long and much-deserved retirement with his wife. He was right on the precipice of so much and we watched every step of it in real time. He was JUST the champion. I think the whiplash of that is why it hurts so much. There was absolutely, positively no reason to think this was coming and there was absolutely, positively no way that his best days weren't still to come. Put those two things together and it just kills.

AEW has done a lot of amazing things in their short run. They have treated their wrestlers with the most creative freedom they could dream of and for me personally, taught me that professional wrestling is about putting on a story and making them count. I already knew the Dark Order would get a clean sweep, but was not prepared for how they would do it and the emotional impact it would have on me. This was the most emotional showing I have ever seen and the greatest tribute they could ever do for 1 of their own.

@josh p Jesus loves you everyone and he is waiting for you to turn to him. Jesus has taken me, a broken and depressed sinner and has transformed my life for the better. Although I am a believer I still fail under temptations sometimes but I do not want you all to make the same mistake if you take this path. Jesus gives the opportunity for all of us to be saved through faith by grace. If you confess out loud that Jesus is your Lord and your Savior you can be saved. It is very important to repent of your sins and say your sorry to God and Jesus for all of the sins that you have committed. It is also very important that you ask for forgiveness and obey God and Jesus. Also it is extremely important to be baptized. I highly suggest you read John 3:5-7 and I also highly recommend reading Mark 16:16. I am just trying to spread God's word. All love. 👋

I remember when Jon passed away I had a conversation with my Uncle about how surprising his passing was. During that conversation we had a very long talk about how we need to cherish our love ones when we see them. Every time after that day I saw him I made sure I told him I love him. 2 months ago he shockingly passed away. Moments like these are so sad and devastating but it’s also a reminder that we’re not promised Tomorrow and no one is. RIP Jon Huber

Unbelievable job by AEW. I've been critical of them throughout the year for certain things but the way they honored Brodie and his family has been nothing short of truly, truly incredible. Hopefully, somewhere, somehow, Mr. Brodie Lee knows that his legacy, and more importantly, his family, is gonna be taken care of.
    RIP.
