I like so much all the Dir en Grey eras, but this era specially ( Missa, GAUZE, MACABRE) are absolutely perfect. The songs of this era are strong enough to collapse the heart and the mind. Visceral.
One of the most powerful moments, in my opinion, during one of their concerts ever. Each time I watch this part it makes me cry and I get that warm fuzzy feeling.
I LOVE this performance. All the emotion makes me wish I was there part of that moment. It'd be a real treat if they'd play this at one of their upcoming lives!

well, back then he had a kinda nasally scream until around 2005 when he just started roaring. More like a "RUUUOOAAGGHHH" in 2005 opposed to "uraaaaahhhh" from before. Then after his roaring era, he started roaring progressively lower until he was experimenting with growls around 2008, well at least that's what I've noticed.
Is it just me...or Kyo is acting differently here? I mean...his so calm, and looks quite upset. I got a feeling like that. his sad eyes hipnotized me, I cant stop watching this amazing performance. And when I saw Toshiya crying I was literally crying with him. I love Deg so fucking much.

Coming in to Dir En Grey from their later Avant-Garde/Extreme Metal style, this is surreal to see. It's fine but this isn't the band I would find myself jamming out to.
This is my first time hearing Dir En Grey. I'm trying to figure the appeal of this...Nearly at the end and I don't get it. Tuneless, repetitive, overstays it's welcome (if ever there was one). Why is this band so revered?
