I love the trope of a group of fantasy characters where one of them is a New Yorker for absolutely no reason. Imagine my joy in finding out there's TWO New Yorkers in this fantasy group
I’m always interested in dnd even though I’ve never played it myself, but I’m really hooked on it now. This GM is amazing! His energy matches everyone so perfectly. This was a fantastic livestream guys!
always love a Q&A because we get to into the Langs' heads!! and the DnD oneshot was SO fun, i've never watched or played a game before and it was such a blast
Managed to watch the first four hours then had to sleep as I had work at 6am lol but tuned in while getting ready in the morning and got to see you hit £500,000 which was really cool!!
IM SO ANGRY I HAD TO MISS MOST OF THIS LIVE!! i watched a bit of it before falling asleep but i was also at a sleepover and wasnt able to be here. thank goodness i can just watch it on here!!
Pitch: Starkid Presents: Dungeon Crawl The Misadventures of a small group of adventurers in the mystical realm of Norge. They are tasked with finding a very fun artefact in the final chamber of a big dungeon, where they encounter various challenges. Cast (I am so sorry if I spelt the name wrong): Lauren Lopez as voice acting The Dungeon Master (or Dungeon Mummy) and playing all the NPCs (think Joey in TTO) Joey Richter as Slash Darkmane, a dark elf rogue with a brooding vibe and a deeply traumatic backstory Mariah Rose Faith Castillas as Brooklyn, a mostly disinterested Half-Orc Barbarian who just wants to get to the end James Tolbert as Lord Maximo, a Tiefling Bard that wants to be the centre of attention as he seeks fame and fortune Kim Whalen as Faeriele, an Eladrin Paladin concerned only with converting everyone she meets to her order (which is NOT A CULT) and joins them on their quest Jon Matteson as Bullseye Jack, a human ranger and Outlaw who is very cool and very smooth, but is mostly useless Ideas of songs: We meet in a Tavern- a fun fantasy tune where we introduce the characters and the world, along with the mission Into the Dungeon- a tense number as we see the first chamber of the dungeon Tragic- where Slash and Bullseye argue over who has the more tragic backstory All about me- Lord Maximo sings about how he is the main character, to the annoyance of the others Smite- Faeriele sings about her deity as she attacks an enemy Critical Fail- When Bullseye Jack accidentally almost kills the party, the group sing about how they are all failures Natural 20- slight reprise of Critical fail, where Brooklyn inspires the crew to stand up and work out a way to get to the final chamber of the dungeon Big Evil Bad Guy- A villain song, as the party confront a sinister demon, who meets the heroes for the first time in the Dungeon Initiative- the big final fight in song form (We then reveal that this whole time has been Ruth, Ritchie, Stephanie, Peter, Kim's nerd from NPMD and one of Linda Munroe's kids are all playing a session together) Level up- The final song, as the group lament the lessons they learned and solidify their friendship. Starkid, you can have this, please, please, please call me. 😂😂😂😂
Don't think so. He just Writes and Directs as far as I know. Nick is the Actor and Singer (I don't care what Nick says, he's actually a really good singer) of the Lang Family (in addition to Writing and Directing).
@@kayleighosborne415I think it’s cause he isn’t trained the way some of the cast is, so he doesn’t feel right calling himself a “singer”. Like I can’t look at sheet music and basically sing a song and I certainly don’t have the ear to know if I’m hitting certain notes or having the kind of breath control that a professional would or know the difference between things like head voice vs chest voice or what is “healthy” when it comes to not straining vocal chords etc. I agree Nick sings well and he likely could be better if he put the effort into it that it requires, but I also respect that he knows the difference between someone who can carry a tune and someone who is “a singer” and I think it shows respect to the cast that he claims he isn’t.
@@MommyOfZoeAndLiam Yeah I get that, I can definitely see why he doesn’t class himself as a singer, I was just saying that his singing voice is by no means bad.
It's fine that they are so safe with their actors (believe me, I get it), but Covid isn't exactly a big deal anymore. Most people don't get seriously sick anymore, and anyone who does have a weakened immune system is just gonna either do a digital ticket or watch the show on TH-cam so as not to risk exposure to any bug, let alone Covid.
It is a big deal if you’re an actor and rely on your voice to give a good performance… plus, it spreads like wildfire through a cast. A local theatre of mine had to end the run of a show early because so much of their cast got covid. So yeah, it is kinda a big deal to be preventative
Loved Starkind Rolls! Jordan/ George? ( I'm sorry he said his name so quickly) was sch a great DM , kept me totally immersed. The whole live stream has been great so far! And well done reaching so many goals! I'm so excited to see the show!

Jon Matteson as Bullseye Jack, a human ranger and Outlaw who is very cool and very smooth, but is mostly useless
Ideas of songs:
We meet in a Tavern- a fun fantasy tune where we introduce the characters and the world, along with the mission
Into the Dungeon- a tense number as we see the first chamber of the dungeon
Tragic- where Slash and Bullseye argue over who has the more tragic backstory
All about me- Lord Maximo sings about how he is the main character, to the annoyance of the others
Smite- Faeriele sings about her deity as she attacks an enemy
Critical Fail- When Bullseye Jack accidentally almost kills the party, the group sing about how they are all failures
Natural 20- slight reprise of Critical fail, where Brooklyn inspires the crew to stand up and work out a way to get to the final chamber of the dungeon
Big Evil Bad Guy- A villain song, as the party confront a sinister demon, who meets the heroes for the first time in the Dungeon

Do you have to be 18+ to go see the show or can you have an adult go with you as a minor?
