I felt your words. They have me in tears. I am so grateful you shared this. Feeling hopeless is horrible… knowing you’re not alone allows you to take a deep breath. God bless you. 🙏🏻💜
Jon Bon Jovi is such a remarkable person. I've loved him as a person for decades because he genuinely cares about people. He's right up there with Keanu Reeves
Along with opening his restaurants for feeding the homeless and hungry for free he's been trained in how to talk with people in all kinds of crisis. I believe God has him there for that moment. TY Jon.
Sending so much love to everyone. Reading these comments is heartbreaking, life is really tough right now. If you are struggling right now, please know what you're feeling is valid, and as much as it might feel like you are you are not alone. Please reach out for help. You can get through this.
Sometimes people are so cruel they will just throw us under the bus… if u ask for help they act like you are bothering them .. had one of them day at work .. they are not friends just coworkers .. I know better now .. thank god I found you Kim .. you make life better for me … Love Ya ..
This really touches me. My childhood friend threw himself off a bridge on Christmas. We thought he had just up and left until he was found during a search for someone else about 6 weeks later. His sister did the same on his first anniversary. I wish they had someone to talk them out of it.
Bon Jovi has been my celebrity crush since I was 15 years old (I'm almost 50). I'm so glad he was there and knew how to handle such a critical moment in that lady's life. Good for you JBJ. ❤
i am currently on 6months long programme - preventing suicide, i am feeling better, but seeing this.... i am telling you- this hug or just grabing hand, little talk, can save people live.... Andy - hugs to you too!!!
Glad you're still with us! I've been fighting that "demon" for years myself too. It doesn't get easier - you get *_stronger_* so you can carry the weight God/Life gave you, so don't give up! The bad days will never black out the truly good ones, and those good days are worth all the bad ones. You just keep reminding yourself that every bad door leads to a sunny place, eventually, no matter how many you've got to walk through, and take it one day at a time. You are important and worthy and you deserve a good life.
I put myself into public situations, I walk the malls and shopping centres just to get the positive vibe of other people to help me from ending myself.
Jon Bonjovi has such a history of social advocacy and helping the hungry and homeless with his Soul to Soul Charity. He and his wife Dorothea, as well as his whole family are wonderful compassionate human beings. My eyes welled up and my heart was truly touched and comforted by seeing this video. Again Thank you JBJ, the person walking with him on the bridge that took the time that lady needed to prevent her from harming herself. Always take the time to be kind with each other in this life. It's so very important. Thank you Andy for this video. I really needed to see this today!✨👍 0:08
Tears flowing watching this and heartfelt happiness to see her come over to them. Hopefully now she can get the help she needs. Bon Jovi was there for a reason. Stay safe everyone. Peace to you all.
I can’t help but think- just the idea that one minute a person is in dire straits down on life, the next minute Bon Jovi shows up and talks to you!!!! If that’s not a sign from God to always be open to how life can surprise you in wonderful ways - idk what is!
Thank you for sharing this. It is beautiful to see. It gives me hope that there is kindness and love on this planet. I've always admired Jon Bon Jovi, and this just makes him even more of a beautiful soul. 🙏🕊
So true, mental health is such a shocking, draining and toxic thing to live with. I struggle every day. Trying to find the strength to keep going. I'm currently 5 years old, though when I was 18, I and my 2 younger sisters and two male friends were in a really bad car accident. The driver, Troy, he died, my sister Racheal, she had a really bad head injury which left her in a coma for 2 years. My other sister Kathleen wasn't hurt too badly, a bit of whiplash and a bleed on the brain. Our other male friend, Florin, he got pretty busted up, but nothing too critical. As far myself, I had a traumatic frontal lobe brain injury, a broken lower back, multiple breaks in my pelvis, I lost 75% vision in my left eye and my legs and feet were crushed/broken. Now today and since the last car accident, I live in chronic pain. It's debilitating and it's what I like to call it, it's my dictated. It decides what I can do or not do, which is the more common decision to not do anything or pain will come and kick your butt. So it's been tough over the years and I've tried about 6 times to end things. But today things are better, my pains still there but my head space is definitely in a good place. I think it's better now because I have help. If I could talk to my younger self, I'd definitely tell myself to reach out and get help, life is better on the other side. You have to talk about it, force yourself, take a first step and then each day take another, don't look too far into the future, because it's too overwhelming, each day, one step. Also set little goals, and when you reach them reward yourself. Give yourself time to heal, and if it gets too much take a me day. But then get back to things. Each day is easier and you'll get there. I hope my story helps someone, You are important and special, remember, there's only one of you in existence. Sending much love and strength from Queensland Australia 🦘💜
So heartbreaking, it truly is for someone like myself that suffers from mental illness and the way things are going this is the best of humanity in our country no matter your status in life.
Nd that's why I love this Man literally. I am a huge fan of Bonjovi I even have a huge tattoo on my right calf. And I have been in the situation of this woman. It's hard being in that dark place when you feel all alone and unloved and just not in a good place. Jon Bonjovi is a good person he was placed there as one of Gods soldiers. And he hasn't had the easiest year either with his throat surgery and his Mom's passing. God bless him. ✝️🙏💖
It's rough out there, been out of work for more than a year now, have to provide for my son for his education, I fight this battle everyday, what stops me is it won't make things better for my son, I have to find a way to fight on and do something different and come through, but I completely get what desperation drives people to this point, please remember anyone else in this spot, it won't make things better if you take this step, it will just leave behind a lot more pain for a lot people you leave behind, and you are not alone, just reach out, like Andy said no matter how bleak things are there is good in the world all around you. Proud of Jon Bon Jovi, such a good heart
You are absolutely right the pain you leave behind,my son committed suicide 24 years ago and it’s been a struggle for me over the years he was 19 years old and his name is Shane my only child, always live in the now have faith and trust and believe in yourself and just know there is always a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how bad the situation is Cheers my friend ❤
@judyturnbull6773 I'm so sorry for your loss, over the last year when my mindset was close to taking the step the only thing that stopped me was the pain I would leave behind for my son, the rejection and feeling dejected is very powerful and I'm so sorry it won for your son, I understand what he must have gone through it is overwhelming, sending love and strength your way!! 🤗❤️
@smartasspatriot445 thank you, it means a lot, kind words and acts from strangers are so powerful, it means a lot to people in despair, more than you can imagine 🤗
Having been in 9/11 I suffered for 10 years after with PTSD an spent 10 years in a very dark headspace, not easy to shake that and therapy and friendships saved me. Glad John reached out, many times you feel isolated and alone and human kindness means the world what a wonderfully compassionate man
Thank you so much for sharing this. We hear about celebrity douche bags every day living their entitled lives. (Insert names here, since there are so many of them!) Jon has made it a life goal to make the world a better place, and his example is much needed and appreciated. We need more examples like him in this world and they need to be highlighted and thanked!
This is beautiful. My son hung himself when he was 26. They found him unresponsive. He was in a coma for 3 days. When he came out, he couldn't speak bc he was intubated. He signed, "Mommy, I love you". He's much better now, thank God!!!!
❤ the anniversary of the loss of my best friend of 32 years is coming up in a few days. Sept 19th. I wish he was still here. It makes me so happy to hear your son survived.
Andy, your compassion is so evident. You’re a good person. The people who just walked by her in obvious distress (before jbj comes up) infuriates me! P.S. I still think about Robin Williams too.
Jon Bon Jovi have always been pretty open and honest as a person. And after that dokumentary about Bon Jovi, where he talked open about his Life and the fact that he was loosing his voice, really made me love him so much more both as artist and as a human. He is just such a loving and awesome man. I just love Jon Bon Jovi💕
The robin Williams thing..I go there too… omg ❤❤ I hope everyone can have a safe positive day and know there is going to be a good out there My motto is “What if it all works out “ manifest that … I don’t even have a job right now like a few others ..keep moving forward ❤❤
❤❤ Oh wow, I am glad he was there and help this person down from the ledge. OMG, 😢 this really broke my heart and loving that he got her to turn around and not jump.

As someone who has battled mental health issues, i understand just what she was going through. Thank you to Jon and the person with him. And thank you Andy for sharing this 💜
Gives "Take my hand, we'll make it, I swear" a whole new meaning. He and the lady with him was the prayer she needed to live on in that moment. Hope she gets the help she needs.
Well done to Jon and the lady who was with him. I hope that poor lady who was in distress gets the help that she needs🙏. Bless you Andy for being prepared to be supportive. Lovely to see kindness in action 🙏
So many people just walk by in silence not just to this kind of thing but any type of crime or injustices of any sort. Most people just watch & laugh or judge instead of having empathy & kindness Thank you for sharing this ❤❤
We lost my nephew to suicide on the 21st July this year, I still cannot get my head around it my heartbreaks everyday and to see my sister going through this pain is just heartbreaking, thank god someone was there for this lady , if I could have one wish in the world it would be for people to just talk life is hard let’s just love one another😢❤
The fact I had to opt in to this video 2 times, a third when I wanted to comment is absolutely crazy. Kids/teens need to be aware of stories like these. They need to know people care. And especially the help line.

He's really done all that? That's so cool.
I'm glad he was there.
yes, can't imagine how many have done that and no one was there.
I'm glad the woman that helped was there. It's not all about Bon Jovi 😔
Depression sucks - having someone there at the worst time is beneficial - some of us wouldn't be here if not for that.
Wow tears in my eyes. I am a survivor of "S" so this makes my heart fill up, someone was there for me! GOD BLESS them all.

I met his son Jake several times. The most wonderfully polite. Gentle young man. Just gorgeous ❤
I love to hear that. I got that impression of him from looking at how he holds himself.
I am sure JBJ will make sure this woman gets all the help she needs going forward so that she never gets into this situation again. Good on you JBJ❤

What’s touching to me is how everybody came towards them in support. I think this shows how widespread this feeling is.
I didn't know it was possible to love this man more, but here we are...
This made my heart melt and my eyes tear. I’m so sad TH-cam decided to restrict this. This needs to be shared.
