Hey, I mentioned in the video that I sold it because I prefer the simplicity of the stock Android experience, and the 4a 5G to me is a much better daily driver. Although the battery life was pretty good on the 8 Pro, the 4a 5G has ridiculously good battery life. The other nuisance I found is that if I install GCam, I wasn't able to set the double press action to use GCam instead of the OnePlus camera app. The camera quality also seems to be hit or miss depending on the environment you're capturing images in. If you like the pixel 2 xl, and the overall experience with it, I recommend the 4a 5G. You still get the headphone jack, a similar sized screen, and you also get a wide angle camera. I'm planning on posting a comparison between my 3XL, 4a 5G, and the OP8 Pro soon.
@@mistahcheng Ive got a pixel 3a do you think i should get the one plus 8 pro? and is the pixel 4a much better? also how was the video on one plus compared to the various pixels? Thank you
@@spirittravels. Hey, sorry for the late reply. If you like the Pixel experience, I would say stick with a Pixel. That's why I ended up keeping my 4a 5g and not keeping the 8 pro. Of you're going to get a new Pixel, I would say either upgrade to the 5a or the 6. The 4a 5g is definitely better than the 4a and is actually very similar to the 5/5a. I hope this helps !
I do too, but between the battery level stuck at 23%, terrible call quality, and my P3XL always closing apps in the background because Google was too cheap to put at least 6GB of in the phone caused me to upgrade.
Hey, I don't have experience with the OP9, but if you're comparing the OP8 Pro to the OP9, I would say the OP9 because you get an extra year of Android support, a faster processor, 8k video, UFS 3.1 storage, and the camera since it was codeveloped with Hasselblad, however you loose on the 10 bit screen, faster wireless charging, telephoto camera, less ram and a lower resolution screen. The main camera between the cameras are the same however, so who knows how much a difference there is when the camera is tuned Hasselblad. There's only a $30 difference right now, so the cost difference in negligible. I think the question comes down to if you think the "flagship features" are worth it. If it was me, I would honestly go with the OP9. I hope this helps !
Mine didn't seem to have the green tint, but some other people did mention that theirs did. Some people also mentioned that other phones have this issue too, so I'm not sure if it's a AMOLED issue or just a OnePlus 8 Pro issue.
To be honest it would be hard to say, but I would imagine that the issue still exists, and it depends on how lucky you are. Every individual screen has a different tolerance on how they're manufactured. Why not consider the OnePlus 9 since it's newer and may not have the same green tint issue ?
How much is it the one plus 8 pro is it available in Walmart ?
It's $799 online, but I don't think it's available at Walmart. You can pick it up from Amazon or OnePlus directly.
Bro can you tell me if the photochrom mode is enabled or disabled in newer oneplus 8 pro.it would really help..thanks!!
Sorry, I don't have the OnePlus 8 Pro anymore.
Why did you sell it? I have a pixel 2 xl and I'm tempted to upgrade to the op8 pro but camera quality is letting me down
