I’m wondering when he will start practicing big cube events or other events such as Skewb, clock, square 1, etc. He definitely has the potential to break every current record in the WCA if he chose to become an all rounder. I doubt he will choose this route, and instead focus on 3x3, 2x2, and Pyraminx.
@@DDHDTV I was averaging around sub 1:20 when I was 11 years old on 4x4, and my hands were probably reasonably sized. A year will definitely be enough time for his hands to grow.

Yukon and Max have a long way to go before they get to Yiheng’s level. Tumon needs to turn faster and Max needs better look ahead. I could also see Luke Garrett or Ruihang making similar improvements and getting close though

I'm not a professional, but I think the world record (WR) depends on the number of moves taken to solve the cube. I saw another video about a WR of 2 seconds, and it looked like each side of the Rubik's Cube had almost 4 same colors, and the solver did just a few moves.
