There's something about voices with that breathy thing to them that irks me. Not sure why, and sometimes I like it, but in J Rome's case that quality in his voice was not my favorite. That's why I would have voted for John Glosson. But I'm not surprised J Rome won. His voice is amazing, and he has great control of it. I may not like it so much, but I give the guy mad props for being awesome, and I was happy for him that he won.
