I never thought I'd even be interested in a game like CS:GO. Then I found 3kliksphilip. I still don't play the game often, but when I do, I have fun.

CS:GO is not a game for me, but Philip's analysis on it is so entertaining to watch. Heck, I could probably watch anything he uploads.

I've never played CS:GO. In all honesty, I don't think I want to. The thing is, Philip's videos on it are just so entertaining it's great. I especially like the mapping videos, because that's something I dabble in from time to time with other games.
Personally, my favourite videos are the budget hardware ones and other stuff like that. I wouldn't care if he did clickbait, because I'm so used to it, but I like the lack of it; it makes his videos even more special to watch.

I think your content speaks for itself and there is no shame using successful thumb-nailing and titling tactics to get better metrics on your videos. In my opinion you make the best counter-strike content by far and I think you should do more promo. As long as the quality of your videos stays the same, I don't see the issue. We're here for the video, not the thumbnail anyway.

Adam Neely does something cool with his "clickbait", whenever he asks a question in the title of his video, the thumbnail has the simplified answer of the question on it.
These kinds of honest videos are the reason you are such a special youtuber, and at the same time very interesting to listen to

I've never played csgo in my life or do I follow any other csgo youtubers, but despite all that you're still one of my favourite youtubers out there
Your videos say a lot about your personality, even in the way you structure and edit them. You start talking about a subject right away and offer concise, well-polished scripts. You don't bother with 20 second long dubstep intros, or minute-long outtros where you rap out the names of all social media websites. We as your audience appreciate that you are considerate of our time, and it's something I wish more video makers did.
I really hate that telling people to subscribe actually works, as I'm sure you do as well. How does the psychology even work on that?

I love that you don't adhere to the 10+ minutes trend and that you don't clickbait. I love that you don't ask me to follow you, I simply do.

Throughout the past 8 years or so, TH-cam was a big part of my life. It's where I spent most of my time. Though in the past year or two, it really fell off my list of importance. I stopped watching. I still rarely look at videos on here. But you are the one person I *always* watch whenever there's a new video out. We all love you and your content so, on behalf of the community, thank you.

Honestly, I'm glad you don't resort to the lowest forms of click-bait.
Frankly, every time I see a click-bait video thumbnail or title, I just groan at the thought that there are people out there who utilise click-bait for the sake of increasing their video's reach, essentially mis-representing the content of their video just to get more views/attention.
...which is why I'm glad you don't use click-bait... well, at least not in the cheap/typical way many other TH-camrs use it. The fact that your video thumbnails and titles are (regularly) genuine makes me thankful that there are some people out there who refuse to stoop so low for the sake of cheap popularity.

Personally I love your content because its a refresher from the rest of TH-cam, what the thumbnail says is what your getting, also you don't have to wait through half the video of obnoxious "Follow me, subscribe, click the bell icon", you genuinely care about your work and I think its a lot more appealing long term than clickbait channels.

I think there's something nice about knowing the content creator is a genuinely humble person. Thats what kept me around. And the fact im a massive numbers nerd.
what I like most about your channels is that you try to have fun making videos and post what you want while being just yourself, that is kind of rare now on youtube

I agree with you on believing that people are not stupid and don't need to be told to subscribe or like. However, I also believe that a lot of people just simply forget, or couldn't be bothered, to like or subscribe even if the video/content creator is great. Telling people to like and subscribe gets it at the front of their mind, especially at the end. It's a good reminder, so if someone likes the video or likes the content creator and they hear them tell them to like or subscribe, they'll remember to do so and actually do it.

You are the only youtuber who I really want to meet, just because it feels like I'm watching you not some guy putting on a act to get the most laughs for his funny compilations (though i do watch them as well). one way to market that might be a little more appropriate for you is structuring your titles to what aspects in the video your hypothetical viewer might be interested in seeing. I think this is why many of the question titles, as well as videos from channels like RTGame, are successful.
I found your channel thru the AoE2 video, and I had no idea what it was gonna be about before I clicked. You could have given me more information and made that click more likely with a title like "Age of Empires 1v6 AI Challenge" or "Revisiting AoE2's crazy achievements," instead of the very vague "AoE2: Total War." I honestly half expected an obscure AoE2 mod review when I clicked, and was pleasantly surprised with what I got instead.
Your HL2 mapping competition video does this very well. I looked at it, thought "man, I've never judged a mapping competition. I wonder what that would be like," and that curiousity dove me to watch it. Something like "HL2 Custom Map Contest" would have been a lot more vague and a lot less engaging for me.

EDIT: also, if you've got a spare ~$200-300, please buy yourself a used Aeron, Mirra, or Leap chair. If you sit for most of the day (which I assume you do as a youtuber) a nice desk chair is literally life changing.

I love all your game dev videos. I don't think I've ever finished a game but that's mainly because I had depression throughout 2017 (and we all know what that does) so I didn't create through then and 2 days after christmas my laptop broke! It was working for around a week and a half a wek or 2 ago and I didn't stop development on this 1 game but then it broke again... I'm just about certain the cpu is at fault and if you're reading this you wanna tell me to stop kicking it while it's down and replace it but at the moment I don't have the money for it. When I do finish the game I will credit you for just existing in my life and reminding me that I can create things that others dream of being able to.

Honestly, I would not mind you telling people to subscribe at the end at all. You're genuinely my favourite youtuber and I think the quality of the content you put out deserves far more recognition, especially this and 2kliksphilip. I think most of your fans want you to do as well as you can, and a small section reminding people to subscribe and follow at the end of the videos wouldn't bother anyone reasonable.
