I have this on vinyl and find myself spinning it just as much as ‘Suspiria’, ‘Creepshow’ and ‘Day Of The Day’ soundtracks. It holds the same quality and rank, in my opinion. Has now become one of my favorites.
Just bought this soundtrack on vinyl not too long ago. I'm a sucker for this Rizatti score. I know Fabio is everyone's choice, and he's earned it. But I love this one.
i guess im asking randomly but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost the password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Yahir Prince thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
27:16 until the end. Ugh... Just brilliant. Really fantastic stuff. Walter Rizzati could stand with the best of the horror film composers, even if he's very obscure in comparison.
So odd for me as I Always thought THIS was a Fabio Frizzi soundtrack, odd because I'm a fan of nearly all things 80's Italian horror / giallo. It was because Fulci did alot of work with Frizzi around this time. I feel silly for my error. Still Great music and influenced by the times and Goblin / Frizzi.
I order mine online - Amazon is quicker than direct from Death Waltz (depends if they are already out or not. Pre orders take a LONG time!). Thanks for these videos. Useful for the checking out the ones I don't have yet.
I don't know I ordered my copy about 5 or 6 months ago from amazon and I only just got the dispatch order now. Got a copy of maniac picture disk from local and that's a stunning soundtrack.
Saw this in 1988 on video with my brothers when i was 6 in Omaha when they rented it, i thought it was gross and scary at the same time! one of my fave horror films, haunted house films and mutant films. The soundtrack is amazing and Dr Freudstein is one scary monster! i can see this movie being an influence on Resident Evil 7 game
this is my favorite Lucio fillm, mainly because of the ominous music of Walter Rizzati, this really traps the feeling that you get from watching these horror movies as a kid - i was born in 82' so they weren't super cheesy, just weird.. now if you watch this, people might feel uncomfortable mainly from the poor audio dub in the movies, but mainly due to the outlandish plots and intense desire to show every little shot of gore.. but you take movies like Megan's Missing or the Siberian Film and those are poor tasteless films, Lucio's movies were never like that, they werent meant for entirely shocking the viewer... today thats all we have going for us... Horror films really are dying... plots are worse than ever and none of them stick to the formula they used to.
Is Serbian Film or Megan's Missing or Martyrs no different than New York Ripper? now that movie was torture porn but early as there was a sexual torture scene that was hard to watch even private stabbings and was quite a mean spirited and unpleasant film. that is his most controversial and sickest film. Born 1982 too and i saw House by the cemetery when i was 6 on video with my big brothers and thought it was scary and gross. Kind of like House (1986), The Shining, Pet Sematary and Re-Animator all rolled into one
@@Johnlindsey289 Honestly I find enjoyment in watching all types of horror and reserve my critique for the end. New York Ripper is pretty violent and unpleasant but really? Compare it to a Serbian Film?? XD Both movies have gratuitous violence and sex but the later one includes shit like penis stabbing and acts of pedophilia. The extreme french movement is a whole other subject, ik im 3 years late but you compared all of those movies based on what? violence and women??? XD Born in 1999, Ive watched many horror movies since the age of 4 and if anything, nobody really knows how to give love to these. Also, torture porn is not present in NYR, just one scene of kitty being tortured and the most awful thing is the tit slashing and eye gouge🤦🏻♂️
@@Johnlindsey289 The difference is seen in the movements and style. NY Ripper is a Giallo and just focuses on extreme sexual violence. A movie like Martyrs explores the beyond of death but it's just torturing people, its one of those woke movies. Inside is almost the same thing, a woke film but with a different theme. I understand that you would associate these three films due to their violence but each one is totally different(the only torture porn one being Martyrs since the focus of the film is pain being inflicted on someone, Hostel is a similar one) If anything the one that adresses sex of the three is NY Ripper, the most violent one can be Martyrs and Inside is probably the most tense/ well written of the three. Violent deaths dont make it a torture porn, only if most of the victims are tortured and later killed(Hostel, Grotesque, Guinea Pig) Sorry for the wall of text, it's an extensive topic due to the amount of content.

Sadly, I have some wax and no record player atm. I own the DW Halloween II soundtrack and can't play it just yet. A player and a decent set up is in the works. My collection will predominately be all horror soundtracks. A lot of Goblin in the mix, for sure. These are so awesome! Thanks for making these. I see you have "Creepers" on here do you plan on getting anymore of Argento's soundtracks?
That's awesome! I saw a nice Goblin compellation at my local record store a while back. I am getting it for sure. Italian horror soundtracks are some of the best.
Youre right! Id rather listen to the score and read horror. Its not even the budgets, the writing in the movies is just dumb. Argentos movies especially have like zero thought put into them, just pure cinematography and atmosphere.
Sorry for offtop, but Im just curious and bit surprised recently - are you getting warped vinyl like this one a lot? I got Drive OST few days ago and it looks similar :( Anyways, great music and lovely upload. Big up!
Mr. Miller: thanks for the upload. Interesting to hear the record on YT. One thing though: would it be okay for you to add the time stamp beside the music track list so one can jump to each song?
***** One more thing... do you plan on posting a LP vid of THE HILLS HAVE EYES? www.onewaystatic.com/products/521076-sold-out-the-hills-have-eyes-limited-vinyl
***** Cool! Looking forward to it. I plan on getting one of the Ion record players (with the USB ports) or one of the laser stylus LP players. I guess until then I'll just have to do with looking at how pretty the LP and the packaging are.
The Italian horror movies from the early 80s are the most terrifying even to this day! The music is amazing! I can hear the feel of Goblin in present day Ghost band that is getting very huge. I love it!
This is awesome. Did you buy these albums [especially the ones with the colored vinyls] online on the internet? I would love to buy some of those records [Death Waltz records] for my collection.
+anymetalwilldo it was REAL back then now cgi everywhere. even now i see jurassic park from 1993 and its kind of outdated. so be lss drastic with fulci...it was almost 36 years ago...soon will be 40 !!! i cant believe it. cheers

I wish all of these composers knew how producing movie-less soundtracks is now a thing. Wonderful album!
There's a sadness to this
Just bought this soundtrack on vinyl not too long ago. I'm a sucker for this Rizatti score. I know Fabio is everyone's choice, and he's earned it. But I love this one.

Kind of cool how these films (and now their music) have found a new audience in our generation. I was like 2 years old when this came out!
Dr. Freudstein!
This soundtrack is so haunting and magnificent, I can't bring myself to stop listening to it.

Loved that movie and the music is eerie! Love that kind of music so thanks!
Love this movie! Need this vinyl!
It's pretty fucking splendid, the vinyl and the music.
there are some bangin synth tunes on that soundtrack - Moroder would be proud!
also: BOB!!
Great movie, great soundtrack. That last track always stays in my head for the whole day once I play it
incredible
The movie is a long time personal favorite. So much so that I saw it at Plaza Theater in Atlanta, Georgia about 3 years ago. So awesome.
Fulci's scariest movie eh? and kind of like House (1986), Re-Animator, The Shining and Pet Sematary in one eh?
"No one knows if Children are monsters or if Monsters are children"
21:27 Wow, this track would feel right at home in a Castlevania game. :O
Most agree and do you think this movie is one of the inspirations to the game Resident Evil 7?

I think it suits Splatterhouse much better.

Never saw this movie. But after listening to this soundtrack I'm loving it.😄
it's brutal

The second track sounds like a Goblin song, or something from a Dario Argento movie.
the second track playing as they pan the house is incredible

Cool avatar i grew up with reruns of that show since 1987 on local TVs as a kid
