Clover Sonoma/ Blue Ocean Barns collab

Clover Sonoma and Blue Ocean Barns collaborated on the first ever on-farm use of Brominata, a seaweed-based feed supplement for cows. Adding a small amount of Brominata to cow’s diets reduces enteric methane (i.e., methane in cow burps) substantially. The Johnson-Neles Dairy, one of Clover Sonoma's family farms, used Brominata for 60 days this summer. During the demo, the cows that were fed Brominata had over 50% methane reductions, while still producing delicious dairy!
