You and Kevin are always welcome to camp over at our property in Gainesville. We are not hunters and from what we see on your videos we think we may also align in thought. We have a jeep, motorhome and have now built a Sprinter van. It is a free stopover where ever your trail leads. Keith and Marsha Harben

I've driven some of the main forest roads in there, and always wondered what the smaller side trails were like (my minivan Terra is obviously not up for it!!)
I'm so sorry you had a negative experience though, I admit I generally avoid exploring the forest roads during hunting season (which is unfortunate, since that's when the best weather is!)
    Thanks for sharing!

No, I definitely wouldn’t take Terra through there. 🙂 The video doesn’t show just how deep some of that sand was. And there were some really tight turns. I’m looking forward to going back.

Hello Cindy! We have been enjoying some of your videos. We love to explore and share our adventures as well! Sure looks like a beautiful trail!! People can be such jerks! Definitely better to not even engage with such people, if you can help it! You guys just keep on exploring! Beautiful campground... Looking forward to more of your adventures! 💙Terry and Terri

Hi Kevin and Cindy. Don't be discouraged by a couple of A-Holes. Enjoy your ride and just tell them to F-Off. You have just as much right to be on that trail as they do. It's a shame people have to ruin your adventure. What I did when this happens to me, I just put this adventure in the Live and Learn folder and plan my next trip.

Hunters are all not idiots. Hunters only get to use the woods to hunt for 2 months and you can all year . I can say I've never seen any jeep riders or clubs out helping do forest clean ups like dog hunters do. I could careless if you are out riding during hunting season just show some respect for hunters and be careful while driving. I've personally had hounds run over and killed by joy riders during hunting season in Ocala.

In the hunter defense alot of that area is quote hunt and have a short hunting season and can take a few years to get a chance to hunt that area. Plus fwc and rangers will stop them and check them out several times a day sometimes. Could they handle it better yea they could. People can drive around all year long and they only get a short time. Got to respect their right like yours. They actually pay alot more in licenses that people just driving too

Sorry you experienced this negativity. Most hunters that we’ve come across are like-minded and happy to see us. Looks like you had a great trip overall.

Yes we did! We are already planning a trip back after the hunters are gone.

    It's a long hunting season, way too-long IMO, but Jan 21st there's a short break here S.FL

best way to handle the angry hunters is to Laugh at their anger. that will irritate them to know that their anger doesn't bother you.
the forest is Public Property for both sides to use and hunters can not hunter on the road, trail or any spot that has traffic on.
but consider this, hunters only get a few weeks to use that area, while offroaders get all year every day to use that area.
everyone kills things to survive. you kill living microorganisms with every breath you take. the food you eat be it plant or animal, was living before it was harvested to feed you. how many things had to die under the wheels of your Jeep as you travel or how many things had to die so they could build the house you live in or to pave the roads you drive on. things have to die for other things can live, it's a two way path, not a one way.

Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. I just don’t think you can compare unnecessary and intentional killing of sentient beings to those unintentional deaths caused by everyday living.

Although hearing the shots was unnerving, I was more concerned with the scratches on your Jeep. 😂 you are going to have to spend some money on some paint protection. I hate cower hunters. Hunting defenseless animals with all the technology on hand. I can see how you would loose your temper. But I’m glad you listened to your gut and got out of there. See you on your next video😊

😅I knew eventually I’d have to get it scratched if I plan to do these type trails. It buffed out pretty well though. Yeah, I’ll never understand the hunter mentality. Thanks for watching!

So the Hunter does not have a right to be there, but you do?
Granted they did not need to be aggressive about it.
Hunting season is only a couple months a year.
Just like the rest of the United? States of America!

Are you a vegetarian? Because as a hunter myself I will tell you nobody does and contributes to the preservation of wildlife and their environment as a whole more than hunters . So I take offense to your uneducated feelings on how you hate or dislike hunters.
