- So it's about time that the elephant in the room was finally addressed. I didn't explicitly say it in this video but to anyone who backed Mesozoica on Kickstarter because of me and regrets it I am truly sorry. It would have been great to see it turn out the way it was promised. Hindsight in this case isn't a great thing.

I'm glad you made this video. I was foolish enough to have backed Mesozoica, and people need to be informed about the situation. It's a shame that projects like Mesozoica and The Stomping Lands end up the way they do because it negatively effects the public's perception of other dinosaur games, especially indie titles.
On the plus, this entails that other indie titles will have to work that much harder to prove to the public that they are trustworthy and worth the investment, and thus we end up with better games that strive to break negative standards.
The isle I consider it very good .... a few days ago was added the skin system, the Suchomimus and pachycephalosaurus :)

I’m sorry how Mesozoica became...I was once friends with max, I befriended all his crew..but Max decided to fire his entire crew, and dropped Mesozoica for a new game, and I’m still friends with the few crew members, but Max unfriends and blocks everyone, including me...Robert has created many models and a special hybrid that won’t be added. I funded a lot, even for deinosuchus....so I strangely have the urge to apologize...but everyone wants to sue Max for his betrayal, so do I...so I’m sorry GamingBeaver for the issues that has happened...

My first experience with being scammed. Not a good one. Totally felt the same what that you did about the game. Now I’ve learned to be more careful with what I support and all. Thanks for the valuable lesson, Beaver. Now we just have to wait and hope the same doesn’t come to Prehistoric Kingdom.

Ophiacodon has a hybrid, Beaver. It fuses with Ankylosaur GEN 2 to make Ankylocodon.

I knew from the moment someone provided screenshots of the Devs talking shit about GamingBeaver that Mesazoica would fail horribly. The lead dev is notorious for talking badly of anyone and everyone who had even a slight constructive criticism of his game.
Would you know where I could find said screen shots? I'd like to see them.
Guano Someone posted a comment providing links years ago in one of Beaver’s Mesazoica gameplay videos. It was around the time when Beavs criticized the animations of the models and the animator flipped his shit over it.
I remember when people were saying the devs are pricks. I thought I should still give the game a chance - people have hated on Dondi too, but the Isle is great. Oh well. Feeling sorry for anyone who lost money in this scam (I didn't).

James! The Isle has a new update! The IK system, terain aligment system and the new custom skin system alongside with a new Suchomimus model, new Ceratosaurus animations and new Pachycephalosaurus model were added!

Beaver, The Isle had a major update. You should get on and play, fall damage isnt working right now, so cliff diving is loads of fun. Also if you play in Isla Nycta 4 you can mixpack with anything, seems right up your alley!

Hey James just wanted to say that for Jurassic World Evolution Frontier is saying that they are going to release a Vivid Stegosaurus skin if we release 25,000 Stegosaurus on any island so just wanted to say something about it and It has to be before January 31st or else it wont count. I've been thinking about making a video on this topic. I backed a fair amount of money and then decided to not invest in the drama. Some time later, Max added me as a "Community Content Manager," a move that might initially seem stupid, but, as someone who wasn't aware of the extent of the drama, I did not realize what I had gotten into. I thought I could either gain some insight on the development of the game, or clear up what was petty drama and what was facts, so I accepted. I don't know what I'm allowed to release, but I keep hearing the same stuff from people about Mesozoica, but there's so much more. I jumped out of the game just before release because it became apparent that the bare-bones test build that was pushed out, was, in fact, not the stripped-down version of the game, but all they had. I had a lot of communication with a lot of the controversial people surrounding the "game" and I'd love to document it fully.

Can someone pls tell me what happened with this mesozoica and what it is.
They basically said "We're gonna do great things, but for that, give us your money." Some like our boi Beaver accepted and helped the game and said Max just took the money, let the game on it's shitty state to his team (and some are complete jackasses from what I saw) and ran away.

Hi James, been a fan for a couple years now but I thought I'd share what I know about the Mesozoica situation. I was in a groupchat with all of the devs and the high tier backers including Bestinslot. If what I remember being discussed in the chat is true, Max hadn't payed the entire crew that worked to make Meso for a couple months before he left the project. From what I can tell most if not all of the devs that were part of the chat had no idea it was a scam. I will point out that like you said in the video that this was on the internet and they could have been saying anything just to appease us. If I'm not mistaken I do believe that there is a group of backers and possibly some of the devs trying to get a lawsuit together against Max but it unfortunately probably won't gain any traction. That is all I have to say, have a nice day James.
Ludia should sell those hats very cheap to players so that it could be Like a ad campaign, and people could find out who other is a player while going around
Mezazoica hated Prehistoric kingdom, Prehistoric Kingdom hated Mesazoica, They both hated The Isle, The Isle hated everyone.
You should really Safe the Parasaurolophus for Tragodistis, it's godlike.
Also, Superhybrids (Hybrids Out of hybrid + normal Dino) can't get another hybrid.
So Stegodeus, monostego, Stegoceratops, Tragodistis won't get another hybrid anytime soon.
Also, Utarinex is really good so get that before leveling Thoradolosaur

Beaver it's okay if you level up stegodeus because it's not gonna have a hybrid anymore. Monostegatops, spinotasuchus, tragodistis,...... are not gonna have hybrids because they are already HYBRIDS + ANOTHER DINO. So feel free to level them up.
I'm glad I never backed Mesozoica, and instead love Evolution, which is basically a game like Mesozoica, lol. One of these days I want to get TheIsle
