Leon Kossof brilliantly painted many of my old haunts in London. We lived very close to the German Hospital, Dalston and knew very well Dalston Lane and Ridley Road. Like Manet he painted the same scene in different seasons of the year. What a magnificent worker of his chosen media. I find many of his portraits rather moving- especially those of his family. Thank you so much for this presentation
