I'm in the middle of redoing my beauty room. I use that exact chair for myself. Its soooooo comfortable! I have my closet and do my hair a makeup in my room too. Ur room is so pretty. I hope to have all my nail certifications by mid summer. Working on my manicure one now.
It's so nice to have a room dedicated to nails, although I wish I could fit a closet in there we have zero closet space in my home! Good luck with your nail courses, they are so much fun x

Hi, I am not sure the name of the brand for the wallpaper but I remember there were only a few choices when I searched online. Just search horizontal stripe grey wallpaper and mine should come up top in the search. I hope you get a chance to look at my other videos, lots of quick easy nailart tutorials x

You're welcome 😊 oh yes, i got alot of inspiration from this. I love it when it looks light and clean and elegant. We recently baught a very old and beautiful house and i'm planning to open up a home-salon there. Problem is i don't want to take away the beauty of the old design but i still want it to look clean and elegant. Your salon tour gave me plenty of ideas of how i can combine the two styles so thank you again 😁. Gotta have that "tree of light", hope i'll find something similar here in sweden 😊
I actually originally bought the light for a Christmas decoration, loved it so much it got to stay lol. I am sure you will find something in Sweden x

I spend around £500 on the decor, I really can't give a price on the products as I have been collecting for a few years and that is where the money is!

Love your place. How do you get rid of the monomer smell? It is really strong even if you buy low odor.
Mitzis Nails hi Hun, I don’t do acrylics so monomer is not an issue for me. I only do gel manicures so the worst odour would be acetone but that goes away quite quickly x

I have a strong monomer smell in my house. Do you have this also? Or how do you get rid of it? Its not limited by the room, the smell spreads itself to the house
I hope she answers this question because I experience the same. I open my nail room window and use low odor Young Nails Monomer. I find YN monomer dissipates quicker than and other monomer I've used (Valentino and Chisel*this one was the strongest)

Beautiful, but Is it legal?
Yes, it is. I am based in the UK, and fully comply with the rules here. I am fully qualified and insured.
Where do you go to see what rules and regulations u have to have in order to have a home salon?
You will need to check with your local council, also check your insurance. If you are renting or with housing association you will also have to check with them.
I wonder where you put your face masks.
I don't wear face masks as I use gel polish only, no drill or acrylics. However I will be using face masks when we get up and running again due to the virus. This video was taken a few years ago I will do an update soon, showing where I store my gloves and sanitising equipment. I have also added another shelving unit.
How do you schedule and take payment
I only work part time, so I use an old fashioned diary and only take payment in cash. I always text my clients the day before to remind them the day/time and the price. That way I don't get any no shows.

Where did you get the desk
I purchased it from Ikea, I don't think they do the exact one anymore. But they have hundreds of similar ones it's just a regular office desk.
How do you sterilize your equipment?
I use products from Mundo. I will do a room tour update soon to show how I store my sterilisation equipment.

Love how you put the swatch nails on the polish! How did you get it to stick to the handle?
The hooks just stick to any service, they are self adhesive hooks. I bought them from amazon, they can hold quite a few swatch rings. The swatch sticks come with their own rings. I hope that helps?
