The evil and negative are two different things. The negative is one of the characteristics you are dealing with an evil person. An evil person has a dark void and is out to kill, steal, and destroy you destiny in life, and thus, selfishness is in that category. The signs are there. They know who they are it's your job to discern who they are as good and evil are in the same world because of the fall and damaged seeds of life by Adam more than Eve. The man carries the seed of life and is deposited in the woman to create a baby. That's why everyone must be born again, natural birth and spiritual birth as Jesus told Nicodemus
I definitely do not have confidence for Joshua Selman! He has not a shepherds warm heart as is crushed for the sheep in warmness and with a deep compassionate heart and is does not feel well to listen to this preacher as I feel do not have right heart! The heart is most important for God and he wants the purity of heart Matt 5:8 in the first love to God,Matt 6:33! God does not want selfrighteousness and pride either when just Yeshua/Jesus payed the prize,Isaias 53,Rom 8:15,Eph 2! God looks to heart and David was chosen because of his heart. Joshua Selman is in pride,too and God does not want that either but a clean heart Ps 51,meekness Matt 5,2 Chron 7:14,Isaias 57:15,Luke 6,a poor spirit-humbleness! Matt 23 and Luke 22 also tells leaders to be humble and Paul was humble! I definitely do not want to listen to Joshua Selman! I look to the heart at leaders! Eaven if he teach some as is O.K. the heart is the most important about leaders and it does not feel good about him! I want to listen to mature leaders! I also do not want to follow people but God in the first love to him,Luke 6! It feels like something is wrong in this preachers life not just that he is not warmhearted. I pray for him!
