Even when Armin is scared, he continues to stand his ground. Even when he was bullied, he'd still find the courage to face them. Eren knew that Armin was lying. That he would hold on until his flesh burned away. Eren's voice sounds broken towards the end because he loved his best friend. Just as Eren was willing to sacrifice himself for Armin during their first mission, Armin returned the favor. A true Hero.

@@sastaassh1112 they don’t even regret choosing armin. In this case, I don’t know how erwin would fair in real war with this. There’s not even real leadership. It’s just eren doing whatever he wants. And what? What this guy said was true anyway. Armin is incredible respectable. If you think this way, you shouldn’t even be watching attack on titan in the first place.

@@dystopianwarcry9425 Erwin didn't send his troops, he led them. He was the furthest forward in the 1st row leading them, he even said so when talking to levi. Erwin should have been revived tbh

What got me hard was child Armin saying "because I don't run" at the end, cause he really didn't run away from the situation and sacrificed himself just for Eren to have enough time to plug the walls with his hardening.

This ep and Erwins speech was rlly emotional. To be honest, only 1 episode from aot makes me tear everytime. 2x12 when young eren helplessly watched the same titan that killed his mom eat Hannes. And to see Eren breakdown in tears, saying to himself that he hasn't changed at all and he is as useless as ever, and aologizing to his mom for not being able to do anything still. That shit hurts

You're right it takes a lot of courage, in the last episode when they did the charge they all look shit scared even Erwin and yet they still did it. Bravery at its finest!

Just a perfect title, they are all Heroes in their way, Erwin for his sacrifice, leading and let the scouts to distract the beast Titan, Marlo who continued and gave orders to other news scouts, Levi for kicked ass of the beast Titan, Sasha, Conny, Jean for kicked ass of Reiner, Eren and of course, Armin for kicked ass of Berthold ! Just an amazing ep !
This is the only time i've seen her cry! Perhaps she has cried on other episodes, but she made me cry!
Shouldn’t matter if it’s animated or not, it still hurts. Like when you read a book. Fictional characters can make you cry and take you on an emotional trip because you connect with them 👍, some people don’t watch because it’s animated and they are missing out.

It doesn't make sense how long he held on and stayed alive, like, he's holding on to metal handles with his hands, how do you sustain that with that much heat?
Erwin was trying to get these people to die with him. He know he was just saying that to hype up the new recruits to die, he even told Levi that, but his words still have a huge effect on them. Even to us the audiences.

After Armin's death, the part that saddens me the most in this episode is realizing the fact that Hitch was awake and waiting for Marlo to come back when he thought she'd still be asleep. And now he'll never know.
And believe me... it HURTS just as much as seeing it for the first time. AOT (Hajime Isayama) is simply... the GOAT!

Armin is really a hero. I don't know why Eren feels like hero now in season 4 because he looks badass... But until season 3 he was annoying (atleast for me)...
