Board 1 I thought why not cash DA before playing hearts, to see if I could get any information about that suit. Oops, that messed up my communication enough that I could no longer disentangle all my tricks.
I always dread when it's Pete on the daily celebrity challenge... Not because I don't love the helpful but concise video analysis, but because I always lose badly! Today it was one win (board 4, of course) and four losses. 😑 In my defense, small variations in our bidding sequences caused Lia to make big variations in its bidding and defense
Peter, I beat you by a board but it was interesting. Board 1, you and I played the same line so flat board. Board 2, your plan of allowing the opponents to break the spade suit in 2H was quite profitable. I tried to guess the spade suit and failed miserably. Board 3, I cashed the Queen in 5!H and was able to get it 1400 for a cheap win(Lila was a maniac on this one). Board 4, I bid 4S, thinking LHO had a much better hand for their takeout double and thinking my Queen of Clubs downgraded my hand. Board 5 was a boring push.
You were so lucky on boards 1 and 2. They didn't return clubs against me (hearts, and I chickened, should have put in the 9). In 2 they took their club ruff. Board 4 I thought of x, but thought 4S was safer. Thanks for playing!
I am very proud to beat you this time. Bid 4S in the second hand. Otherwise draw. Thanks for doing this. It is very helpful to hear your comments.

B5. Overcalling 1D we got to 4Hx down too much.

Yes for some reason Pete's puppet bid on board 1 caused him to get a useful club play at trick 3 instead of the heart continuation.
@@ericsiegel2884 Same here, I thought putting in the 9 would give up a trick... It would've gotten me a tie with Pete, though!
I played 4s on bd4 and didn't bid my diamonds on the last board. Both paid rich dividends.
