Hey Skelturix! I just wanted to say that I appreciate your videos. I use them -almost exclusively- to co-ordinate my guild's farming and STR set up strategy. We are, however, still just on Tier 5. We are an up and coming 100m guild. Anyways! With the Zombie rework, I know things have changed. Certainly mods and certain rotations in the fight. Will we be seeing an updated version? I don't think it'll be for weeks as I can't imagine the strategy and planning and work that goes in to these videos. I don't see you respond often to your comments, but I hope this reaches you and is already a priority in your mind. Thanks so much for everything you offer the SWGOH community. Hey there, I was wondering why you're using an offense set and triangle while focusing on CC for Talzin. I've done the math multiple times, and here are the conclusions I drew: Given 20% CC (talzin's base CC), with a max Offense Cross, Arrow and Square, and no extra offense anywhere - Offense set + offense triangle => 13.5% damage increase - Offense set + CD Triangle => 15.6% damage increase - CD set + CD Triangle => 12% damage increase However if we just increase CC a little bit with a CC set (so 25% for talzin) - Offense set + offense triangle => 13.5% damage increase (that doesn't change, obviously) - Offense set + CD Triangle => 17.19% damage increase - CD set + CD Triangle => 14.67% damage increase The breakpoint that tips things in favour of full CD set and Triangle seems to be around 38% so that's probably not going to happen But the difference in gain in favour of CD becomes bigger the more you add flat offense secondaries from mods. so if you want to maximize damage on Talzin, you want to go for Offense set and CD Triangle unless I'm missing something in the bigger picture which I would be happy to know about.
thank you. i saw a video for this somewhere else and it said to have everyone hit nihilus with basics straight out the gate to get rid of the protection which seemed beyond stupid to me, lol. one little thing tho, at 9:54 it says DN will use call reinforcements before drain or annihilate even if theyre all off CD. from my own experience, thats only true for drain. if annilhilate has 0 CD he will always annihilate before calling reinforcements.
I run full offense with very high potency on talzin so the bosses actually get plagued. You get more overall damage than you would from crits, and a few stacks of plague wrecks DN's TM. At 4, it's possible to wipe out his entire turn meter with one basic from MT.
Something that I've been noticing with my attacks is you have to watch for when traya's isolate comes back up. For me it's usually around 7 or 6 turns left with DN and here in the video I noticed it happened with four turns left but you had luckily used the shield with zombie and so she took the isolate. Maybe not so big of a mistake...
One thing u didnt add. When Nihlius kills anyone he is SUPPOSED to get 30% of the units stats. However,that doesnt seem to tske place. CG could fix this by just debugging that element. Its a little unfortunate those that spent money on zombie and geared her are basically screwed.

I'm 2 of 4 zetas towards completion, I still need Old Daka and Mother Talzin (end of this month for completion) and a few minor GXII pieces to finish GXII.5 on the 4 GXII toons. Would it be possible to get full screenshots of your SWGOH NS Squad with your MODS? I see your base limits you've set, but I'd like to get an idea of what they actually look like. And holy cow the fact you can SOLO Nihilus!!!
Skel - one more thing, how do you track the cool downs and speed of nihilus while you're performing a run? Do you just do it on a piece of paper, have a spreadsheet, or some other means? I had thought about this when you did the nihilus video, but never went back to ask; so asking now lol.
Def congrats on this, I never imagined this being possible without falling in nerf territory :O Your mod focus is entirely different than every run I've seen and I'm also glad it incorporated Zombie because she makes the run easier and way less if even any, "unbreakable wills" needed. And if you dont mind answering this since you already put in ALOT of work in demonstrating and discussing your strategy, would you mind explaining your choice of move/target? As in do you use Endless Wrath and Dark Magick when available, and what parameters makes you target Nihilus? Is is entirely based on Sion's turn meter or are you choosing to attack Nihilus with certain characters?
Nightsister Zombie gear: AS LOW AS POSSIBLE. Ok.. deletes youtube account... closes browser... deletes star wars galaxy of heroes... throws iphone to the trash can... (Max geared all nightsisters even zombie here).
Don't worry, the health debuff mods are coming out, specially made for zombie: For every gear level reduce zombies max health by 5%. Luckily your account was backed on the server :).
Great video, as always Skel! So I finally 7*ed MT a couple weeks ago and 7*ed Zombie today - just in time for her nerf, I know - but since they started talking about nerfing the team, I switched focus away from them. I got to the point where AV and Talia are G12, Daka and MT are G11. AV has her two Zetas but I stopped before the other two were given. First attempt was good for 2.3m dmg. Would you change anything about the strat and tips, given the limitations on my team? They are basically on hold until they decide how they're going to nerf them.

Is Plague not worth mentioning at all? It seems like it would be an easy way to get a bit of bonus damage if you can apply it to the adds early on so it spreads to Sion and Nihilus. If you can land plague on each add after Sion resurrects them, and focus on Sion for a bit so that Plague takes out the adds and spreads to the bosses, it would help add a bit of damage while you're beating up on Sion and waiting to lose protection anyway. Fantastic vid!
I noticed after uploading it that I didn’t mention Plague... personally I don’t like Plague runs. Talzin gives a lot of protection to DN because she’s permanently debuffed with defense down (since she hits him every turn), and also a lot of turn meter to Sion (5% each time) so you can’t make the run last as long as you can without Plague. Overall I feel like Plague is good if you don’t master NS very well as it’s easier to get a good chunk of damage, but once you know how to play them it’s better not to Plague.

I have to ask before i get mad about my idea to not gear Talia. I have everything geared as u just explained in the video. Would Acolyte work instead of Talia? i have her G12 already and dont want to spend gear on extra toons unless its absolutely neccessary.
12:00 why did you cleanse with Daka with only 1 stack of bonds of weakness? Was that done to avoid giving TM to sion, and risking that he took a turn, killing zombie and then Daka with 2 extra attacks on her? Or is there something else? Would be nice to add some explanation to that decision that I felt was very unexpected.
I wasn’t sure whether DN would move after or not, since Annihilate was on a 1 turn cooldown with low health Zombie wanted to be sure I wouldn’t have a debuff on Daka. Also, she was very low health as well and I didn’t want her to die in case Sion was to move next (cleansing ensured to get rid of defense down)
This is an awesome guide! I foolishly made my zombie G8 awhile ago (wish you could go back and ungear characters), but I digress. Is there hope to replicate this with my poor choices?

Yes in this run there are a couple of times where I could / should have used Talia’s specials. First special grants more TM and heals more but she won’t heal to full so it can be dangerous for the TM train, and second special allows to attack once more but the risk is that bonds damage from when she uses special are too high for her to heal to full on the basic that follows.

At 23:20, you bring up the enrage cooldown and a visual bug. Could you expand on this? I don't understand what you were showing in the video so I'm not sure what the mistake was you made. EDIT: I found it I think. At 4:30 Traya gives Sion TM, and also reduced his Enrage CD from 14 to 13.
Problem is that it feeds a lot of turn meter to Sion, which ultimately is a problem as he reaches enrage too soon ;) however now that the NS have been reworked, I think you can play with Plague
SabreAnt every time a nightsisters health falls below 100% they get 50% tm so heal to max then trayas bonds deals damage reducing health below max giving 50% tm keep healing for tm and everything else is a stat boost and 50% chance to remove enemy tm on damage

This may be a stupid question but when you say +1200 offense for AV is that physical and special damage combined or is it just physical damage?

No, you absolutely need Talia. She’s the one that plays the biggest part in keeping the TM train going as she can heal every single turn.
Is Daka's Zeta still required since the rework? I assume the rest of the strategy is still valid.

g8 is fine, just don’t equip the diamond mod so that you won’t increase her armor (and of course, no bonus health at all)

Yep that’s it! It happens again later in the run, with DN this time.
why dont you try to get plague on an add? wouldn't that increase the damage? because it would go on sion/nihilus and talzin would do damage 3 times^^

there is geometrical progression. gm (and stats) cap between G1 and G8 is far less, than between G8 and G9. So dont worry.

I got a 9.5m run yesterday on my main account. Lesser mods only reduce damage by a bit but if you understand the strategy you’ll still get great runs.

Man if I could take some gear off zombie, I have her at G8, still works just won't get as high of scores
Remove diamond shaped mod and be sure not to have any defense or health stat in the other mods. You should manage to get (very) similar results.

This video has 97.6% of like vs dislikes, so while I understand you may have your reasons to dislike it I don’t think you should generalize. Numbers speak for themselves :)
