Liked and subscribed for the white schnauzer 😂 I have two schnauzers so I know what’s up. I’ll be hopefully be getting my tundra soon in the next few months. Looking forward to doing a lift and wheels
Is this for every model or just the platinum? I just tried ordering the same wheels and the shop is telling me they won’t clear the break caliper. I have the 22 SR5 TRD Sport package. Asking for a friend before I finalize the purchase.
@@maibysoberto2068 Yes, they should all be the same. Some shops might not do the install as their systems will them them that they will not fit due to the small tolerance between the caliper and wheel, it's literally a few millimeters.
@@GearheadJT sorry, I don’t mean gas mileage. I mean actual tach miles and speedometer mph readings. Since you went bigger tires, what did you do to make sure the speedometer and the tech were reading correct?
great video and your car is amazing... The rims are +1et..? It looks like -12et.. Iam ready to buy them... but I want to make sure that the rims in this video are +1et..?
I've heard several people make the claim "35's didn't effect my MPG's at all." Honestly, I don't see how that's even remotely possible. Bigger & heavier rotating mass, it has to effect your MPG's. Even if it's only 2 or 3 mpg. I'm running 35x12.50R17 Yoko Geo MT's on 17" Icon Rebounds. My MPG's went from 17 to 13. Obviously an MT is going to effect MPG's more than an AT, but larger & heavier rolling mass is going to effect MPG's.
I've been speccing out wheels and tires, and it turns out the stock Tundra wheels are pretty heavy. If you get a lighter wheel to balance out the heavier tire, you're not adding much unsprung mass. For example, changing the stock wheels on the TRD pro to 17" Method 703s + 35" Falken Wildpeaks only adds about 14 lbs. of unsprung mass in total.
Your description says +1 offset but wouldn’t that make the tire go inward? Sure you didn’t get the -12 offset as they poke out nicely
The truck looks good and your dog cute
can u post where u bought the rim lift and tire setup??

It looks great rim to tire ratio 👌
Did you have to use a spacer to clear brakes?
I didn't. If you run 17's just make sure they mount the balancing weights towards the face on the barrel so they don't catch on the brake calipers.

When you made the suspension and wheel/ tire change, did you have to do a speedohealer to make sure your speed And mileage aren’t off?
Follow up, with my regular driving it went from 13.9 to 13.8
