Great ride! At the start was hoping You to get some fast wheel up to the more front of the bunch so wouldn’t need to burn so many matches later at the ascent.. still You managed to do a fast (and hard) recovery! Power!! Congrats for the podium! \o/ (passing leisure riders one said ”hyvä” at 40:26 and it sounded like Finnish! ;) hyvä = good)
I had many opportunities to come to the front. I was not expecting this to be a close race because every year a couple of contenders arrive at a very high level and kill it like those 2 disappeared at the front. Riders I cannot beat even at full tilt let alone with early season power. So I wing this race and see what happens. This time we were lucky and had recorded an interesting one. I regret not recording the 2019. Austrian TT champ was there and gave a motogp effort on the flat part ripping the peloton to pieces. We averaged over 45 km/h compared to this years 39 km/h.
wow 1 sport that i love but cannot understand is cycling .....to be able to push so hard for so long with wind, cramped riding position and saddle, all while maintaing 40kph pace ....Supermen
