DREAM got blocked by YG on almost all the reactors that I have seen because it was a pre-release for the album. Now that the album has dropped it shouldn't get blocked but it is probably better if it is on Patreon anyway just to be safe.
LIKE THAT is written and produced by Charlie Puth so it will sound different from any YG typical song. But this R&B Hip Hop style is what I envisioned BABYMONSTER be doing and they proved that they are more than capable to put out songs that would be popular in the West. I think that their whole album is a no-skip which is pretty rare.

I just.. I love this so much but YG’s made it a bit obvious that they’re trying to recreate what they’ve done in the past. I listened to this song, didn’t hear it the first time, listened to the remix of stuck in the middle and thought “wooow. Say you miss the popularity 2NE1 gave you with their style and sound without saying you do” and then listened to this song again and finally heard the word “blackjack” and then there’s the Blackpink visuals and sound on other tracks.
Im not gonna lie.. I wish YG would let girls talents really show. Find new writers, cuz the rap lines LINES are so bad, new producers that will push against trying to replicate Teddy’s formula. Cuz that was never YG but Teddy.
The WORLD fought for each of these girls so they’d all debut together and they’re misusing their talent on subpar music that just makes people think of their sister groups. 2NE1 started it all for me and I NEVER compared Blackpink to them and Blackpink got me BACK into KPOP. So YG is CAPABLE of a good idea or finding people who have them and yet everything put out so far for BABYMONSTER… all anyone can hear and even visually see are glaring comparisons to both.
Don’t get me wrong, the majority of their discography I have on repeat, but good catchy songs won’t make these girls AS great as they’re Unnie’s. It’ll always be about the wasted potential and it’s heartbreaking.

@@wh98412 oh this song is western for sure, not doubting the sound of it but he still used references that YG fans will understand as being YG. Blackjacks is the fandom name for 2ne1. It’s too random of a word for Charlie to reference and it not be about YG. There weren’t any other kinds of game references used like batter up was all about baseball. The 2NE1 SOUND is what I hear in the stuck in the middle remix not this one. It’s just the BP like visuals and sets, an outdated sounding remix reminiscent of 2NE1 and then references to their sister groups in their other songs.
