I've always thought this game had to have shipped unfinished. They had lots of ideas and elaborate stage designs, but with the enemy placement and balance, you have to eat unavoidable hits to the face every 5 seconds, which they compensated by putting health power ups everywhere. The Gamma Capsule power up is way overpowered, and you can't tell me that final boss is what was intended. Still, the game,while not good, is playable enough that it makes for a decently fun speedrun!

Gratuitous parallax scrolling, lovingly done pixel art, inappropriately funky music, absurd gameplay... was this an Amiga game at some point?
