Hi Kev. Great projects you've got and loving the episodes. I've bought the Raptor dash binnacle and mount now, just need to fit them. Thanks for the recommendation. I've got an Ex-military Defender 110 soft top with the 2.5 NA diesel engine and always intended to fit a 300tdi. Seeing your V8 though is giving me other ideas!! :-D The Megasquirt autotune function looks awesome, it would be great to know how this works and how aggressive or safe it will tune compared to manual tuning. Count me as a vote to request Shaun to do a guest spot if possible. Keep up the great work and thanks for doing the videos! Cheers Phil
Very informative Kev I'll be giving megasquirt a ring tomorrow I've got a 4 litre gems which seems to be such a long winded process to get running in a Kit type car it was recommended to Me Maybe look at the megasquirt system and you have made this so understandable to appoint just one question I've got? noticed your laptop is plugged into a silver box in between the console is that something that's just holding wires and relays or is that part of the megasquirt system as I can't find that on the website that megasquirt advertised on thank you. very .much enjoy your video that you've done very well laid out I'm not surprised you've got all those subscribers you deserve them and I will be tuning into you again
Hi Kev, I'm enjoying the videos. Just a question, in Episode one you mention that you were going to replace the key locks with a central locking system. Have I missed the video for this? How are they working? Cheers Ty
Hi Ty, glad to hear you're enjoying them! I did replace the front locks, and I do have the footage, but once they were in I got sidetracked on other things :) I need to dig out that footage, finish the rear door, and edit that together. I'll try to make that the video after next (the next one will be replacing the lights, and I'm half way through that one right now)
Thank you for sharing with us those valuable information.
Excellent explanation and wonderful photography
Peace from Kuwait ✌🏻

Kev - super old video I know. Maybe youre not on youtube anymore. Where did you pick up fuel pump power from?
Did you see much improvement on mpg or power with this conversion?
I didn't really take any before/after measurements, but it did feel a lot more reliable, and a bit more punchy
@@KevsDefenderProject wish me luck with mine
@@mikefarrell3739 Good luck!
