To safeguard our Indian data and help in maintaining cybersecurity the Indian govt have asked these companies to either show proof of servers running in India or allied country running server but handling of data personal and professional information directly to Indian govt or incase of malaise should be able to share data with Indian govt. Some companies don't want to get thru this red-tape as it needs a lot of registration, followups & liaising. Documents and documentation takes time and considering that the game hasn't been either able to produce the needed documents or hasn't wishes to follow thru and do the due diligence. Being said that I assure to you that it's for the best and betterment of the Indian people such means and measures are maintained. So when the game comes it comes. We are hopeful and optimistic that it will launch but as of now they have not released any timeline. Also people talk of involuntary effects of the border skirmishes with the Chinese etc that is holding the govt to launch the game as well. Global politics and economics also effects this as to why we in the Indian govt are not allowing the game to be launched here. It's a possibility but I cannot confirm again with absolute truth on the fact. Main reasons are majorly the INDIAN NORMS.
