I know it's just a TV show, but that thought hit me. It took me 4 years. He deserves to be happy. Hopefully his daughter is ok with Jessica (Jess), being the girlfriend, not just a work associate.

Episode 18x07 is about him coping with her death. It's shown as their first normal day after covid. It explains how she died few months back, how his life looks now and they also have a little memorial for her.

Men are tired of being used by women and those that just want to stay friends out of fear. Benefits outweigh costs when you end up in the relationship. They showed his daughter, Victoria, in this episode as well. She calls Timothy Uncle Tim. She seems the perfect combination of Jimmy and Breena.
