This is pretty hard to answer because im usually always late to fandoms (i was years late to danganronpa, mha, and yttd :,)) ) but i wasnt too late for undertale! A long time ago before even aus existed for undertale, it was all mostly just people sharing their interests for the game, and making wholesome are and making fun theories! Then well- it became pretty toxic once the aus started coming in, dont get me wrong I love the aus but uh... thats when people fighted over which au was best, claiming au ideas, then the fangirls popped up- the toxic ones would harass other users for taking any interest to a certain character and it just became not enjoyable, the fandom is slowly getting better though, im seeing alot less toxic fans, and more newcomers bringing it all back! Sure there isnt millions of fans like there used to, but its still nice to see an old fandom coming back less toxic :)) also oml im so sorry if this message is too long haha-
