@@bubblekingz Bliz has tried that and failed, ended up banning real players as often as bots. You can't make a bot to do something that requires real intelligence.... AI is not the cure to society's problems, just another disaster to damage it.
If I can look at a bot and know it's a bot, an AI could look at bots and identify them. Blizzard needs to hire someone to train an AI model to detect this kind of input.
The best way would be to get one minimum wage part time employee per server. That would take out 98% of them if they logged 2 hours per day. Blizzard can't afford that as that would cost like $140 per week and they are operating off a limited revenue of around 7.53 billion yearly.
they cant ban bots instantly make your research before you make video about this kind of stuff... There are literally protocols to NOT ban them instantly because that would result instant reaction from bot software developers meaning blizzard would reveal their hand how they found them and in return botters will find another way and cycle goes on and on.. That's why they don't ban instantly because there is a giant industry for botting they try to disrupt it by banning in waves rather than everyday.. Stop making stupid videos like this if you have no idea about working in a game company works and making comments like "indie company btw" if u don't like it don't play it they are doing pretty good job stop being clueless and at least write a more original commentary than "indie company". i think the bots keep moving around a bit, but also classic wow uses 'layers' so they might be there but in a different layer to you i've heard some people say the bots spam invite lots of people in the local area to keep changing layers to avoid detection
jesus christ, watched this whole video just for this dude to come up with the insane revolutionary WoW Token that NO ONE WANTS IN THE GAME, you are seeing things too narrow sighted. Because buying gold is against ToS, and you can be banned (even though no one ever does get banned for RMTing for gold), it still creates an environment where its both bannable and frowned upon by your peers to RMT. Adding WoW token normalizes buying gold to get an advantage, it makes it readily available with just a few clicks in game not having to use a "sketchy" third pt site and put in your credit card info into said "sketchy" site. What this means is, WAAYYYYYY more people will start being p2w where as only a very small % of the community did RMT. And ontop of that, coming from some who has RMT'd in almost every mmo ive ever played. RMTers never buy currency in game if its even 15% cheaper on a site lol. never mind 50% cheaper or even higher. So what this means is, the people who start buying wow tokens are 100% people who didnt RMT and almost no one who did RMT is switching to wow tokens lol. just not happening.
video wasn't meant to be about how something will save the game, just wanted to bring attention to WoW bots. It's weird cause I've used the WoW token to have tonnes of money on battle.net (haven't played for anything blizz related since like 2015) but I also dont like it because how it montesies every action, something which I cut from the video. Like repairing my items and going, oh that 15c, and then selling a BOE off the AH and going ohh I made $1.50 feels gross and i appreciate your insight into someone who has RMT'd, i see it kinda like Netflix, where yes people still download movies illegally etc, but the safety/quality of life/easy of use/speed makes people use the more 'expensive' option. But that's so true, there will be people who still RMT etc no matter how efficient etc it is through legal means. Really good insight NODDERS
It is a definite problem. Worse, it's pretty well known that some of the big name Guilds and Some Streamers are paying for folks to run bot farmers for them to feed them supplies/gold... same problem in Retail and HC etc. Bliz doesn't necessarily profit from bot accounts though, as many bots are run by criminal enterprises that sell gold etc. and often they use stolen credit cards that have not been canceled yet/shown up on folks' bills. They can run a month or two on such cards and then just ditch the account and create a new one.
Bots are indeed the death of all blizzard games. Blizzard is beyond incompetence and deserves to be dismantled as a company entirely. Its IP sold off to a better company and its leadership jailed for corruption.
i'd love to see blizzard IP's picked up by other companies that'd be amazing! look at what riot has done with their indie games and even things like Arcane! they need to move on and not be so controlling of their ips
this is me 100% and i agree with the people hating the game they play. like the journey is the game, like you said, i like trying to work out how to get a bit more gold to maybe buy a BOE or organise groups to run specific dungeons for specific drops and grinding those out! once i've got the gear i'm done and move on to new characters
people want to ban all bots and have a bot free world until they realize everything they were buying for 50s is now 10g, there isn't an endless supply of materials on the AH making lvling professions either going and getting yourself or accumulating stuff over days and maybe weeks. RMT has been in the game since day 1 and so have GDKP's especially in the classic private realm communities cause a lot of those servers allowed you to buy gold directly from them so now the official servers suffer from it, it also doesnt help that why would i farm for 1 hour to get 100 gold when i can go to work for an hour and buy 1k? if you cant raid cause you cant get into a random group join a guild and if u "cant commit to a raid schedule" then maybe dont play a game that revolves around large group base content. and as much as a lot of streamers do RMT lets be honest that bis gear wasn't bought lol it was given to then by streamer andy that wants to be noticed by the famous one lol
@@TheZeagon then heres an idea, do it if everyone farmed their mats and gear no one would buy gold and bots wouldn’t exist, oh wait you aren’t doing that rn cause why would you if something is 10s
its so easy to manually ban bots dude, just pay someone to do it on each server and gg
what if we made bots that banned the bots 🤔

Just tell blizzard to tell Activision to Microsoft to tell blizzard to hire people to do nothing but community support. See how that goes post 2010
bring back the council for WoW /s

but actually tho super valid

what are your thoughts on the bot situation?
i think you should use an AI voiceover because your constant slurring made this very painful to watch.

Tbf ive reported ever single one ive seen and ive gotten mail from blizzard saying they banned people i reported
hell yeah! I've been reporting them also now that I've noticed how bad it is, waiting for some mail!
blizzard should just add a button that records your gameplay and you send in the bot, have the players be accountable for their server, bot police lol

Permaban gold buyers
if they dont wanna play by the rules dont play the game 😤
