The difference between -10 dBV (consumer audio) and +4 dBu (pro audio) is actually around +11.8 dB. Note that dBu and dBV are referenced to a different nominal 0 dB level.

As for these types of videos, I hope you do something about your audio setup to get rid of all the ambient noise and getting more of the interviewee. Why not the wireless G3 microphone system from Sennheiser or something like that? :)
