Not sure about South India but north people don't usually drink brewed coffee at home. We keep instant coffee in our home for our guests because ik they will not like my iced coffee 😂 I once made it for a guest because they wanted to try it and they asked me if I was out of milk because it I was too watery for their liking.

If u don't like soft serve, add a scoop of ice cream.. Here restaurant serve these with vanilla ice cream but there is a restaurant and I ask them to add chocolate instead of vanilla (they offer ice cream too so they have chocolate ice cream on their menu and it costs the sane) I love it with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. You can try with vanilla or chocolate or sth else that goes well with milk

My boyfriend is in the military guy apparently maggie and cold coffee in Indian defence academies is an emotion. He can have cold coffee everyday but it has to be a specific way.
As it's instant coffee powder, brewing it strong on gas more than few seconds gives a burnt taste. So direct usage for cold coffee. You also add some ice to ready coffee. Sprinkle of Cocoa powder/drinking chocolate powder on top gives it a yumm taste.
That’s really similar to the regular instant coffee that a lot of my korean friends do, except they whisk it to extreme foamy (almost like whipped cream) and pour it over milk.

Yup I do the same..it gives a stronger coffee taste..also one can water it down by adding more water or ice cubes if you prefer less milk in your cold coffee:)

There is a South Indian restaurant in Patna and I always have their Dosa and cold coffee with chocolate ice cream 🙂.. I live in hostel and theirs is the only obe that's not watery.. The combo of dosa and cold coffee us really good. They make good dosa(they are popular mainly for dosa ).. But I think a Marwadi runs it. It's in Marwadi compound and also it's pure veg so makes sense

You can use a coffee decoction too. Also adding vanilla icecream to the blender makes cold coffee even better.
