Sorry about the short game woes. Commentary was definitely entertaining with lines like “night vision, which is good because it was pretty shady.” And “hit a confident putt here”
    Hope Rd 2 goes well!!

Thanks for not spoiling the ending!!!!! loving the vids.
Good to see you're addressing your short game. Work hard on that over the winter, and you will improve your results massively.
If an iron off the tee is leaving you a chip out of the trees........start bombing a driver instead. If you bomb it into the trees, you'll be a LOT closer to the green than with an iron. Driver is a GOOD weapon for you.

I have watched you since the beginning of COVID . You are an inspiration and I have been impressed with the journey! Tiger woods had the yipes so it’s not that bad lol just keep moving forward understanding that the light at the end of the tunnel is growth . One day it will all click and you will match the beast within on the course as well. Big dogs eat bro! As always watching from Texas !

First off, I'm supremely jealous of your golfing talent. Second, I would love to see you just clear your head, say f### it, stop focusing on mechanics or form and just let go of anything messing with your head. You can tell when you're tensed up and you can tell when you're just playing like it's a no stakes, let it fly approach. Just once, let's see it and see what the results are. The talent is inside there James...........let it come out naturally. You got this!

I've gotten better at my chipping, and the big takeaway for me was realizing the lie plays so much into it and can be unpredictable at times, which I'm sure you know anyway, but as a plonker around the course, I have tons to learn... :)

Hi James, loving the videos, I went through the same problem with the chipping and then the confidence hit a all time low. Why pay to enter a comp and not risk using the big stick and then you bombed that par 4 on in 1, I’d definitely be using my driver if I was playing it. great drive 👏 on that par 4 and great birdie on the 208 par 3. James, I've got the perfect cure to your chipping action as I had exactly the same yipping action you've got at the moment. If you just sense the weight of the clubhead and just focus 100% of feeling the weight of the clubhead swinging thru, at first you may lose a bit of feel but after probably 100 chips it becomes almost automatic, guarantee this cures your yips. Super simple but will work as it did with me.

It's better to find confidence in a 2 iron and let it transfer into the rest of your round. Plus, if you can ease a 2 iron 250+, that's plenty enough for any course in England

As a former scratch golfer in the Yorkshire set up I was lucky to be in the same coaching group as Danny willet, John parry and a few others. The difference in levels is staggering. I am baffled to read people on here saying you are close and you are nearly there. Nearly there to what exactly ? You are sadly never going to make money from playing golf as a living. So I am guessing you are just going to be a youtuber ? You are however, as a youtuber very very fortunate to be able to play golf this often and get lots of free equipment. You should certainly recognise your privalage as there are hundreds if not thousands of golfers 10x your quality who haven't the money to pursue this dream and will quit.
