Salam Alaykum Thaqlain Network, I know we believe and its the only belief that makes sense that Lady Khadija Kubra (as) was 25 years old and a virgin at the time of her marriage with the Holy Prophet (saww) and had 2 sons and 4 biological daughters with him but could you share the hadiths about Lady Khadija Kubra (as) being virgin. I found something online about this: Ibn Shahrashub quoted from al-Sayyid al-Murtada in al-Shafi and al-Shaykh al-Tusi in Talkhis al-shafi that Khadija (a) was a virgin when she married Prophet Muhammad (s).[11] So can you ask Sayed Mohammed Baqer Qazwini if its true that Sheikh Tusi (ra) believed that Lady Khadijah Kubra (as) was a virgin and also Sayyid Murtada

Surah Al-’Ahzab - Verse 59 يَآ أَيُّهَا الْنَّبِيُّ قُلْ لاَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلاَبِيبِهِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَي أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلاَ يُؤْذَيْنَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُوراً رَّحِيماً 59. “O’ Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they draw their veils close to them, that is most convenient that they should be known (as such) and not be annoyed, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. Syed, most Sunnis use the above verse to indicate that Prophet S.A.W.W had more than one daughters and refute the shi'i claim of only one daughter. Allah used words Banatika which is plural for daughters, if I am not wrong, to indicate this. How do we counter this?
Based on the opinion popular within the school of Alulbayt, Lady Khadijah had 2 children: Qasim and Lady Zahra. Rest were the adopted daughters from her sisters.
I don't see the reason why we are fussed about whether Khadija a.s was a Virgin or not. Even if she was married before the prophet I don't think that makes her less worthy. Why do we make such a big deal about virgins? Does that mean widows or divorced women are not good people? Subhanallah,Aisha was a young virgin when the prophet s.a.w married her but look at her character compared to Khadija who was probably not a virgin.
Salaam Alaykum. The fuss is from the other side. The scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah are mostly found to be adamant in proving that she was 40, married and had kids before she met the Prophet. The intention over there is to present age, marital status and children as a status symbol and thus raise the status of a particular wife, presenting her as the most beloved. While an old age woman, married before and having kids is never an issue in Islam (Umm Salamah is a prime example), the entire intention here is to negate these accusations on logical and historical grounds.
Just because othman married them! They are not biological daughters of khadija. And if khadija became successfully business woman, this means in terms of age, she was relative order. That is common sence.
Othman accused his wife ; Ruqayyah , at the time. He accused her of spiying on him. He beat her with palm tree sticks. She complained to the prophet about. The prophet sent imam Ali to bring her back home. He encovered her back to assess the situation and said " he killed you ,, may Allah kill him ". Would it be possible for the prophet to encover the back of a non mahram female to him !
To be honest the common sense about Khadija to be a divorce before Rasool Allah married. Simply Allah chose Marry to be a virgin to carry his Prophet Issa (a.s) to become a Rasool in Bani Isreal. Allah for completing his Deen and Establishing the Kingdom of Peace on Earth Prophet Mohammed p.b.u.h son The Last Savior from Prophet Progeny and Jesus together. Quran clearly state that Allah rules never Change. Thing to ponder ! My stance as Sunni Muslim about Lady Khadija the first wife of Rasool Allah.❤
How is it that the salawaat of juma states that rukaya binte nabiyyika Also umme kulsum binte nabiyyika Islaam does not allow adoption so the name nabiyyika cannot be used Quran denies Zaid bin haarith as his son as he was adopted by the Prophet as himself
Even today, women of high social status marry late. Add, being one of the richest independent businesswoman who also happens to be extremely pious. And seems like waiting gave her the best return 🙂

As per books of history, Prophet had 4 or 5 children with Lady Khadija. Only Lady Fatima survived.
