Serbian Certified Arborist scheme establishment

In June 2024, the Association for Landscape and Horticulture of Serbia, in collaboration with the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Forestry, and with support from the Arboricultural Academy of the Czech Republic, hosted a pivotal three-day practical seminar. This event marked the beginning of the Serbian Certified Arborist national certification scheme.
The seminar brought together a diverse group of participants eager to gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience necessary for achieving certification levels of Arborist - Groundman and Arborist - Climbing/MEWP Specialist.
This landmark event not only enhanced the skills of its participants but also laid a solid foundation for the future of arboriculture in Serbia. With the support of international experts and local institutions, the Serbian Certified Arborist scheme is poised to elevate the standards of tree care and management across the country.
