gotta say this about blade, i was borrowing blades from friends to try and get the achievement for getting him below i think like 15% hp and then healing him out of it, and it took a TON of effort to actively kill him that much. the survivability in his kit is genuinely impressive that when i was TRYING to get him killed he just refused to die even with multiple builds off of my friends list. lore accurate kit, i guess.
He is my first 5 star limited character, carried me thru so much content. Although I did not pull for his sig LC, I managed to get s4 Secret Vow. I mainly use him as a sub dps for wind weakness type bosses
yess he's carried many of us early on in the games life cycle and is still serviceable to this day luckily, either as a main or sub dps depending on content :D
The blade paradise is unreachable for me without his signature, but blade did give my early game account a boost and let me get more jades to get more characters Stand Proud Blade, you are strong

E3S1 Blade! I love him, i will get E6 for him. I do run him with luocha, bronya, sparkle. It does feel like he doesnt do as much damage as the others, but i guess it is a trade off that he has high hp and skill efficient
I wish I could give my blade the same love as you’ve given yours but unfortunately mine will probs be stuck at E0 S0 for the time being 😅 But I would say even if he doesn’t do as much damage as some units nowadays he’s still very fun and serviceable :)
I only recently started playing MOC because I gained more characters. I didn’t have good supports but now I was able to clear up to 11 which is I’m happy about. Blade helped me clear MOC 10 along with Bronya for support.
Congrats! I was stuck on floor 11 for a while until I finally managed to 36* after getting acheron so just keep it up and you can do it (and trust in bladie!!) :)

@@reyco2.032 Me too… My Jingyuan got obliterated by Cocolia and I took forever to clear the first node. My Acheron team on the second node did a good job clearing it but I exceeded the cycles so I only clear it with a 1 star.

Its funny how you can skill issue aventurine’s technique, enter the battle, exit the battle, get technique pts back and try again til u get the 60% def boost.
S5 Flames Afar actually outperforms S5 A secret vow. The only downside of Flames Afar is the 1 turn downtime on buff which Blade can actually ignore with his skill. The Advanced-Forward turn after Blade's Skill does not count as a turn for the purpose of the buff, but it counts as a turn for the purpose of the 3-turn cooldown. So you can Skill > Hit twice > Ult when you turn starts to refresh buff... There are reddit threads and videos about this if you search online.
@@quackduckquack if S5 flames is a 75% up time buff for 50% damage but S5 Vow is a permanent 40% minimum (and can go up to 80% if lower HP than enemy) then wouldn’t Vow be better since it’s effectively 40% damage increase against 37.5%? (maybe my logic is flawed but that’s just my thinking and prydwen also has Vow as 3% stronger, I remember people thinking at first Afar would be stronger but I think it turned out to not be)

i honestly love blade to the point i even sacrificed e1 ruan mei (still got her tho) just for e1 blade as f2p, sure it might not be the best choice to pull for a dps' eidolon rather than something else but i adore him so he deserves to be e1s1 especially considering hes the reason i downloaded hsr in 1.0 im glad he still gets some attention because he honestly feels so underrated if you ignore the constant talking about ships that include blade (which at this point feels like people care more about ships rather than the characters themselves)

As soon as I came back to hsr during 1.3 and saw blade's gameplay, I immediately knew that he will be my first ever limited 5 star. Even after getting DHIL the patch after, he stayed as my favorite character, and my main. He's carried me through so much bosses, and I genuinely believe that without blade, I would have struggled so much more. Also, I recommend giving blade his signature LC, it makes him way easier to build, and it was what let me get 70 crit% and 170 crit dmg. Also, the extra damage boost every time he loses hp is great! Immediately noticed an increase in damage even tho its s1
yesss blade has been my fave character since even before his release (as made obvious by the channel design lmao) and his gameplay is some of my fave in the game! Although as much as I love blade, I do just rather invest in multiple characters rather than a hyper specific LC for him, I’ve never pulled on a LC banner and that’ll probs stay true for as long as hoyo keeps releasing so many amazing characters in terms of design and performance 😭
I was so lucky to get blade on his re run, i never planned on getting him because ruan mei just appealed to me more even tho i had 0 dps units, somehow i managed to get e1 ruan mei and e0 blade so i managed to get three 5* in one patch. Sooo glad i got blade cause he carried me being my only dps, i do have JL and acheron now but still use blade for wind weakness. Stil a GOAT.
He might have fallen off a lot compared to the top DPS right now but he is so fun to play with especially when paired with Jingliu. Both of them just keep hitting their enemies when it's not even their turns lol
its less so that he fell off and more so that there are more strong options as DPS that are slightly stronger, but I agree he is very fun and I also love pairing him with jingliu! :D

Saw some misplays. At 4:55 you weren't in enhanced state so ult lost damage. Blade gets his ults back fast so you should be moving his stuff into bronya buffing windows. I would never ult without bronya boosting. You overcapped skill points a lot. You can skill to get more uptime on your Pela ult

I do know that blade gets his ult back up quite fast but I usually dislike overcapping energy on most characters - but after what u said ill try out ulting when hes buffed, thank you for the tips! :D also just wondering whether you would recommend switching to a HP sphere and rutilant arena instead of innert salsotto, or should i jsut choose whatever has better substats? :>
@@SamiverseYT if you want to be nerdy about it technically over capping energy is okay provided you won't get an additional usage out of it. So if you know you're only getting 4 ultimates it's better to overcap and put them into buff windows because you're not getting an additional one. Because you have bronya blade speed tuned (which is commendable btw) he's slapping enemies like no one's business you've effectively permanently doubled his actions since your other units are so sp positive. He's gonna gain a lot from proper buff timing. Without his signature I'm not sure the exact calculations based on super imposition of A Secret Vow for a HP sphere or wind sphere. I will say personally if that HP sphere with good subs gets you to 6k hp and good crit stats then that's more worth than a wind sphere just for pure comfort. Rutilant is the better choice especially in the bronya blade setup because he's attacking effectively twice with his basic per turn but it's hard to farm/build. However blade gets +16 crit rate from the 4 piece relic set so you technically only need like 54% crit rate to get the rutilant buff. However as always substats matter more. If you've got the crit ratio you need on salsotto I would say just use that.
He was my first EVER double drop on-banner! I pulled 4 ten pulls, got my first copy, and then 3 ten pulls later, gor his e2. Needless to say, i pulled flr his LC and he was my main dps for a while. Jingliu stole his spotlight until i got ruan mei and started running them together 😂
an E2 blade and his LC is something I can’t even imagine in my dreams 😭 I am looking to pull for Ruan Mei on her rerun tho so hopefully I can get a new good support for my bladie so he can do his best at E0 S0 😅

I tried to get Blade on 1.2 (I think?) but I lost to Clara and then on 1.6 Ruan Mei got the priority since she seemed very good for a lot of DPS's (including DoT's)
I also lost my 50/50 back in 1.2 😭- but luckily it only took me one ten pull for seele and then i skipped jing yuan, silver wolf and luocha to get him no matter what (as well as getting kafka and dan heng >:) but yeah pulling for ruan mei was a good call, unless sunday's kit is as broken as hers then I'll be wishing for her when she reruns after boothill
I do use blade as main dps got Full * in previous MoC 12 But current MoC with cocolia and aventurine just straight up kill my supports since I don't have any 5* sustain They really promoting aventurine Now My Blade team is Blade,bronya,Silver wolf,lynx I would say this is a perfect team for Blade
yeah its a bit harder to have blade carry in the current MOC unfortunately since its basically his worst case w/ no wind weakness on multiple enemies on first half and aventurine's annoying mechanics. but he's very fun to play with many teams he's good in for both AOE and ST, and hopefully he'll be more suited for the next MOC :)
The good thing about blade it's i farmed his set for free by farming all my support relics , to this day i still use him in moc against wind weak bosses so i don't regret pulling him owo
haven't I gotten him in his re run, but i will get him on the second, i do not care if he can 36* Moc, Yunli's light cone will be good enough for him trust 👍🏻
i havent tried it since to play a hyperspeed bronya I'd have to put my Blade on HP boots for him to do more damage so that the hyper bronya would make sense, but the issue is I don't have good HP boots. I'd consider it if I had good HP boots, but since I don't and I enjoy the current rotation then I'm not rlly looking to change that. I think if ur gonna go for hyperspeed bronya you should aim for minimum 162 and make sure ur blade has as many offensive stats as possible and very little SPD for it to be comparable
@@SamiverseYT Some points that I could recommend is that you take Ruan in the rerun, he is a very good support, or it could also be jade that appears in the next version, which has good synergy with blade. Then there would be the build, I would say that if you wear speed boots, put HP orb in blade, Lynx i think is better for blade thant loucha, because the hp+ and agroo.
@@SamiverseYT Another important point although rng xd is better stats, mine currently has 73/180 and 6500hp. And the Arlan cone would be good if you had it with some refinements, but I know that it is not possible to do magic and get it out and that's it, so maybe I would recommend that you try the moc r5 cone

I finished gold and gears and swarm disaster with him on the highest difficulty but ma man is so weak against enemies who aren't weak to wind We need a support that helps characters who consume their HP to deal dmg
in single target situations (or ones with weaker summons like the swords yanqing summons) I'd say Blade can still be quite good if played alongside silverwolf. but yes he does unfortunately fall off if there is more than one big enemy not weak to wind :c (like in the newest MOC). but yes hopefully a HP support soon :))
true there aren't as many situations in which he can shine like other dps, but luckily he's still versatile and strong enough to stay relevant and make his kit work! im just happy I get to use him :)
they do both have their strengths, although I think ruan mei is useful in more situations than sparkle so ur more likely to get more use out of her (especially DOT teams, dual DPS teams, PF teams), but Sparkle can be stronger in hypercarry teams (as mentioned). I will be honest I'm not actually certain whos better for blade specifically tho if thats what the comment is supposed to be about. In a dual DPS with JL ruan mei is defo better, but in a blade hypercarry im not too sure. if i were to choose one to summon for i would go for ruan mei, but thats bc she'd be more valuable for my account - I would figure out who would be more valuable for ur account overall and I'd go from there (also hello from one zhongli lover to another xd)
thank you! idt it matters how many times u use his technique as long as u get the one which gives him the most defence (i luckily got it first try in this run), and u can reroll for the highest defence as much as u want (they dont stack and it will retain the one which gives u the most def%) - to my knowledge at least also unlucky with the 50/50 :c (but since ur welt was early hopefully u can get aventurine even earlier!)
true that, luckily since this video I have changed my blade's build to a rutilant arena with HP% sphere instead of wind% and got a RM so hopefully next time I use him in MOC he'll do better!! ^^
i mean my blade is far from blade's full potential even at F2P investment. if his LC was S5 then that would be an extra 20% dmg, if bronya was on the penacony planar ornament set that would be an extra 10%, my blade is on inert salsotto instead of rutilant arena, has low HP and there is much to improve when it comes to relics. not only is there much to improve, i feel like just looking at pure damage numbers is misleading. blade attacks quite often in between the two enhanced basis (incl bronya skill), follow up attack and ult which all cycle rlly quick. the damage numbers themselves may not be the same 100k+ u see on dan heng or jingliu, but its a lot of hits of decent damage that makes him still competitive with them (+he's more flexible in my experience)
He scales of hp though. If he scaled off attack, its better They'll never release a support that buffs health. Why would they? To support ONE character? No chance
For the time being not yet, but considering Sam's F2P light cone includes HP% then they'll most likely have HP mechanics. There will also be other HP focused characters in the future so a HP support that brings out blade's full potential is always possible
@@SamiverseYT I would love that but I don't think it's likely. Attack buff is just so much more universal. It'll have to be quite a bit of hp related heroes before they can upsell a hp giving support

I used to play Blade a lot with Loucha because of Louchas passive Blade will alleys be at 100% hp witch isn't optimal specifically when i play him on Sacred Vow LC losing the passive when I'm alleys above the targets HP the lower they get. Fu Huo are better for him in that build yes you will be in danger of him dying with out a Loucha or Galiger but would legit do more dmg when Blade hit when hes under the targets hp.With or with out that LC the main point is hitting above 7-8k hp with the 70%+ crit rate and 160+ crit dmg. Running an hp sphere is alleys better than wind for him fixing the lacking hp% problem and him doing more dmg instead of the wind multiplayer and if possible with the Rutilant Arena set as he hits most of his dmg with the enhanced AA rather than wait for those back loaded dmg with the ult and follow up att.
I'm pretty sure Blade's current HP does not matter when it comes to his damage outside of Secret Vow. Since all his multipliers are based off total HP instead of current and there's no enhance for current HP, that problem only applies to if using a Secret Vow where enemies have to have more HP than you. Even then however I'd rather use luocha as opposed to a shielder so he gets more stacks for his talent since it's a big portion of his damage. You can use the Flames Afar LC or any other good LC for Blade that could release in the future to remedy the issue of feeling like he has to be low HP. Although the extra dmg% from SV is nice, I just feel like its more of a bonus to his damage rather than a necessity. But thank you for the build advice! My blade has been built like this for a long time so I haven't kept up with changes to his recommended build, will look into swapping out the planar ornaments if I can get good enough pieces :)
Are you mixing up Bladie with Arlan? He doesn't do more dmg with lower hp, he needs to lower hp to do dmg (direct hits, dots etc). in fact if you are under 50% hp his burst will heal you but not give you a stack on FUA. if his hp drops to 1 he wont get a stack on FUA. You want him to stack up his FUA to 5 as fast as possible. Shielders are a meme and the worst thing you can play with him. Hou Hou clenses any dot, gives attack buff and regen energy all are counter prodtuctive to bladies kit. He needs to loose large amount of hp for his ultimate to do damage so any energy regen is just lower damage. Fu Xuan is decent option but it is possible for him to to drop to 1 hp or get killed. As is his bis sustains now are Loucha or Lynxy.
@@SamiverseYT Yes my bad i was at a wrong assumption that Blades skills scale off his missing hp as well as the max hp over all mainly because i use Sacred Vow LC i mixed them up together in my mind. I reread the skills and your right it only matters of his max HP scaling rather than his current missing one. I don't have his signature yet and might get it in the future to just remove this out of the equation + more crit stat easier build off it. I'll fix my comment to not be spreading misinformation on my part for the build itself thou ty try it out good luck in getting all the double crit relics in future farming and good rolls.
@@vulshie2605 Yea i kind of had the wrong assumption as i use Sacred Vow on him and in my mind i mixed the skills scaling not only from max HP but having him be at lower hp like Arlan my bad. I read on them and yea i see why him at 1hp wont give him a stack as hes neither taking dmg or lowering his hp more than that so it wont count ty for the headts up. Hua is still good in his team thou because her passive healing helps out with the hp manipulation he doesn't scale that well on the att present but its there in the skills anyway and the regen she gives is still good for both Blade and the rest of his team mates especially having Bronya/Sparkle to use more ultimate to buff him. For Lynxy i really tried using her and i hated it when ever i place that taunt on blade and hes still not hit is garbage + in current content Lynxy really struggle to keep everyone healthy on more heavy aoe hitting fights as i really dont like to place a taunt on everyone just to heal as her big healing is only her ult other wise and if its not up well bummer id rather use Fu instead or Hua it has better results for me at least and I'm not running out of SP with the Bronya skills. If i use Laucha unfortunately the SV passive goes out the window if they rerun him at a less new good unite heavy time i might get his signature to remove that problem and just use Loucha but till then Loucha and Galiger are a dps loss for my Blade unfortunately.
I'd say get a jingliu if u want a jingliu rather than for a blade team. Some people prefer Blade in a solo DPS team whilst others like him as a dual DPS, it normally depends on what supports someone uses. Since I like JL I decided to pull for her and I defo recommend her for anyone anyway since she is a strong unit, but I would only pull a JL if u rlly want her instead of just seeing her as an addition to blade teams
since I already have luocha and aventurine for sustain i'll be skipping fu xuan, I'd rather pull someone like boothill, sunday or some other harmony character since those are the ones im rlly lacking rn
I do 2 cycles with my blade on this specific floor and 2 cycles aswell with my blackswan when ppl say they fall off just cause they have skill issue lmao but tbf maybe on blackswan on full potential will only save you 1 cycle 😅
well to say he never was is a bit harsh. he was competitive upon his release and although DHIL and JL took the #1 DPS spot when blade came out, he still remained decently competitive and still gets the job done to this day

mhm Blade's survivability imo is the best amongst all of the dps rn, it's just that the endgame is more like a race rather then an endurance test.

As soon as I came back to hsr during 1.3 and saw blade's gameplay, I immediately knew that he will be my first ever limited 5 star. Even after getting DHIL the patch after, he stayed as my favorite character, and my main. He's carried me through so much bosses, and I genuinely believe that without blade, I would have struggled so much more.
Also, I recommend giving blade his signature LC, it makes him way easier to build, and it was what let me get 70 crit% and 170 crit dmg. Also, the extra damage boost every time he loses hp is great! Immediately noticed an increase in damage even tho its s1
yesss blade has been my fave character since even before his release (as made obvious by the channel design lmao) and his gameplay is some of my fave in the game! Although as much as I love blade, I do just rather invest in multiple characters rather than a hyper specific LC for him, I’ve never pulled on a LC banner and that’ll probs stay true for as long as hoyo keeps releasing so many amazing characters in terms of design and performance 😭
I was so lucky to get blade on his re run, i never planned on getting him because ruan mei just appealed to me more even tho i had 0 dps units, somehow i managed to get e1 ruan mei and e0 blade so i managed to get three 5* in one patch. Sooo glad i got blade cause he carried me being my only dps, i do have JL and acheron now but still use blade for wind weakness. Stil a GOAT.
Agreed! Blade is still great and incredibly underrated, especially with wind weakness like in that MOC c:
He might have fallen off a lot compared to the top DPS right now but he is so fun to play with especially when paired with Jingliu. Both of them just keep hitting their enemies when it's not even their turns lol
its less so that he fell off and more so that there are more strong options as DPS that are slightly stronger, but I agree he is very fun and I also love pairing him with jingliu! :D

Saw some misplays. At 4:55 you weren't in enhanced state so ult lost damage. Blade gets his ults back fast so you should be moving his stuff into bronya buffing windows. I would never ult without bronya boosting. You overcapped skill points a lot. You can skill to get more uptime on your Pela ult
ooo noted. I do know that blade gets his ult back up quite fast but I usually dislike overcapping energy on most characters - but after what u said ill try out ulting when hes buffed, thank you for the tips! :D
also just wondering whether you would recommend switching to a HP sphere and rutilant arena instead of innert salsotto, or should i jsut choose whatever has better substats? :>
@@SamiverseYT if you want to be nerdy about it technically over capping energy is okay provided you won't get an additional usage out of it. So if you know you're only getting 4 ultimates it's better to overcap and put them into buff windows because you're not getting an additional one.
Because you have bronya blade speed tuned (which is commendable btw) he's slapping enemies like no one's business you've effectively permanently doubled his actions since your other units are so sp positive. He's gonna gain a lot from proper buff timing.
Without his signature I'm not sure the exact calculations based on super imposition of A Secret Vow for a HP sphere or wind sphere. I will say personally if that HP sphere with good subs gets you to 6k hp and good crit stats then that's more worth than a wind sphere just for pure comfort.
Rutilant is the better choice especially in the bronya blade setup because he's attacking effectively twice with his basic per turn but it's hard to farm/build. However blade gets +16 crit rate from the 4 piece relic set so you technically only need like 54% crit rate to get the rutilant buff. However as always substats matter more. If you've got the crit ratio you need on salsotto I would say just use that.

He was my first EVER double drop on-banner! I pulled 4 ten pulls, got my first copy, and then 3 ten pulls later, gor his e2. Needless to say, i pulled flr his LC and he was my main dps for a while. Jingliu stole his spotlight until i got ruan mei and started running them together 😂
an E2 blade and his LC is something I can’t even imagine in my dreams 😭
I am looking to pull for Ruan Mei on her rerun tho so hopefully I can get a new good support for my bladie so he can do his best at E0 S0 😅

I tried to get Blade on 1.2 (I think?) but I lost to Clara and then on 1.6 Ruan Mei got the priority since she seemed very good for a lot of DPS's (including DoT's)
I also lost my 50/50 back in 1.2 😭- but luckily it only took me one ten pull for seele and then i skipped jing yuan, silver wolf and luocha to get him no matter what (as well as getting kafka and dan heng >:)
but yeah pulling for ruan mei was a good call, unless sunday's kit is as broken as hers then I'll be wishing for her when she reruns after boothill

Blade,bronya,Silver wolf,lynx I would say this is a perfect team for Blade
yeah its a bit harder to have blade carry in the current MOC unfortunately since its basically his worst case w/ no wind weakness on multiple enemies on first half and aventurine's annoying mechanics. but he's very fun to play with many teams he's good in for both AOE and ST, and hopefully he'll be more suited for the next MOC :)
The good thing about blade it's i farmed his set for free by farming all my support relics , to this day i still use him in moc against wind weak bosses so i don't regret pulling him owo
true him sharing a good cavern is very useful, but even if it wasnt i would never regret my bladie uwu

Do you ever play hyper speed Bronya with Blade? I have 159 spd on her now and it just feels worse to play overall, I wanna go back tbh.
i havent tried it since to play a hyperspeed bronya I'd have to put my Blade on HP boots for him to do more damage so that the hyper bronya would make sense, but the issue is I don't have good HP boots. I'd consider it if I had good HP boots, but since I don't and I enjoy the current rotation then I'm not rlly looking to change that.
I think if ur gonna go for hyperspeed bronya you should aim for minimum 162 and make sure ur blade has as many offensive stats as possible and very little SPD for it to be comparable
Jingliu and Blade is still my go to team they just work so damn well

@@SamiverseYT Some points that I could recommend is that you take Ruan in the rerun, he is a very good support, or it could also be jade that appears in the next version, which has good synergy with blade.
Then there would be the build, I would say that if you wear speed boots, put HP orb in blade,
Lynx i think is better for blade thant loucha, because the hp+ and agroo.
@@SamiverseYT Another important point although rng xd is better stats, mine currently has 73/180 and 6500hp. And the Arlan cone would be good if you had it with some refinements, but I know that it is not possible to do magic and get it out and that's it, so maybe I would recommend that you try the moc r5 cone

We need a support that helps characters who consume their HP to deal dmg
in single target situations (or ones with weaker summons like the swords yanqing summons) I'd say Blade can still be quite good if played alongside silverwolf. but yes he does unfortunately fall off if there is more than one big enemy not weak to wind :c (like in the newest MOC).
but yes hopefully a HP support soon :))
I love Bladie a lot but there's not enough enemies to where he can fully shine. He's still really good though
true there aren't as many situations in which he can shine like other dps, but luckily he's still versatile and strong enough to stay relevant and make his kit work! im just happy I get to use him :)

Ruan Mei is the most versatile.
Sparkle works best for DHIL and crit hypercarries.
Overall ruan meis better but in hypercarries sparkle is better.
they do both have their strengths, although I think ruan mei is useful in more situations than sparkle so ur more likely to get more use out of her (especially DOT teams, dual DPS teams, PF teams), but Sparkle can be stronger in hypercarry teams (as mentioned).
I will be honest I'm not actually certain whos better for blade specifically tho if thats what the comment is supposed to be about. In a dual DPS with JL ruan mei is defo better, but in a blade hypercarry im not too sure. if i were to choose one to summon for i would go for ruan mei, but thats bc she'd be more valuable for my account - I would figure out who would be more valuable for ur account overall and I'd go from there

thank you! idt it matters how many times u use his technique as long as u get the one which gives him the most defence (i luckily got it first try in this run), and u can reroll for the highest defence as much as u want (they dont stack and it will retain the one which gives u the most def%) - to my knowledge at least
also unlucky with the 50/50 :c (but since ur welt was early hopefully u can get aventurine even earlier!)

your blade's damage is little scuffed.. I don't have blade but seeing the dmg scaling compare to other dps like Ratio is too low
i mean my blade is far from blade's full potential even at F2P investment. if his LC was S5 then that would be an extra 20% dmg, if bronya was on the penacony planar ornament set that would be an extra 10%, my blade is on inert salsotto instead of rutilant arena, has low HP and there is much to improve when it comes to relics. not only is there much to improve, i feel like just looking at pure damage numbers is misleading. blade attacks quite often in between the two enhanced basis (incl bronya skill), follow up attack and ult which all cycle rlly quick. the damage numbers themselves may not be the same 100k+ u see on dan heng or jingliu, but its a lot of hits of decent damage that makes him still competitive with them (+he's more flexible in my experience)
He scales of hp though. If he scaled off attack, its better
They'll never release a support that buffs health. Why would they? To support ONE character? No chance
For the time being not yet, but considering Sam's F2P light cone includes HP% then they'll most likely have HP mechanics. There will also be other HP focused characters in the future so a HP support that brings out blade's full potential is always possible

although characters released since outperform him there are still situations he's good in! but yes his lightcone will probably be quite good on Sam so it can save you the jades having to pull for another LC

My only issue with blade is that his ult never critssss
it really does feel like that sometimes 😭its always a painful when u have the perfect set up for ur ult and then it doesn't crit even with 70 CR
I used to play Blade a lot with Loucha because of Louchas passive Blade will alleys be at 100% hp witch isn't optimal specifically when i play him on Sacred Vow LC losing the passive when I'm alleys above the targets HP the lower they get. Fu Huo are better for him in that build yes you will be in danger of him dying with out a Loucha or Galiger but would legit do more dmg when Blade hit when hes under the targets hp.With or with out that LC the main point is hitting above 7-8k hp with the 70%+ crit rate and 160+ crit dmg.
Running an hp sphere is alleys better than wind for him fixing the lacking hp% problem and him doing more dmg instead of the wind multiplayer and if possible with the Rutilant Arena set as he hits most of his dmg with the enhanced AA rather than wait for those back loaded dmg with the ult and follow up att.
I'm pretty sure Blade's current HP does not matter when it comes to his damage outside of Secret Vow. Since all his multipliers are based off total HP instead of current and there's no enhance for current HP, that problem only applies to if using a Secret Vow where enemies have to have more HP than you. Even then however I'd rather use luocha as opposed to a shielder so he gets more stacks for his talent since it's a big portion of his damage. You can use the Flames Afar LC or any other good LC for Blade that could release in the future to remedy the issue of feeling like he has to be low HP. Although the extra dmg% from SV is nice, I just feel like its more of a bonus to his damage rather than a necessity.
But thank you for the build advice! My blade has been built like this for a long time so I haven't kept up with changes to his recommended build, will look into swapping out the planar ornaments if I can get good enough pieces :)
Are you mixing up Bladie with Arlan? He doesn't do more dmg with lower hp, he needs to lower hp to do dmg (direct hits, dots etc). in fact if you are under 50% hp his burst will heal you but not give you a stack on FUA. if his hp drops to 1 he wont get a stack on FUA. You want him to stack up his FUA to 5 as fast as possible. Shielders are a meme and the worst thing you can play with him. Hou Hou clenses any dot, gives attack buff and regen energy all are counter prodtuctive to bladies kit. He needs to loose large amount of hp for his ultimate to do damage so any energy regen is just lower damage. Fu Xuan is decent option but it is possible for him to to drop to 1 hp or get killed. As is his bis sustains now are Loucha or Lynxy.
@@SamiverseYT Yes my bad i was at a wrong assumption that Blades skills scale off his missing hp as well as the max hp over all mainly because i use Sacred Vow LC i mixed them up together in my mind. I reread the skills and your right it only matters of his max HP scaling rather than his current missing one. I don't have his signature yet and might get it in the future to just remove this out of the equation + more crit stat easier build off it. I'll fix my comment to not be spreading misinformation on my part for the build itself thou ty try it out good luck in getting all the double crit relics in future farming and good rolls.
Gepard and Aventurine are bad choice for Blade, he want to get hit so shields are not really good for him
@@vulshie2605 Yea i kind of had the wrong assumption as i use Sacred Vow on him and in my mind i mixed the skills scaling not only from max HP but having him be at lower hp like Arlan my bad. I read on them and yea i see why him at 1hp wont give him a stack as hes neither taking dmg or lowering his hp more than that so it wont count ty for the headts up. Hua is still good in his team thou because her passive healing helps out with the hp manipulation he doesn't scale that well on the att present but its there in the skills anyway and the regen she gives is still good for both Blade and the rest of his team mates especially having Bronya/Sparkle to use more ultimate to buff him. For Lynxy i really tried using her and i hated it when ever i place that taunt on blade and hes still not hit is garbage + in current content Lynxy really struggle to keep everyone healthy on more heavy aoe hitting fights as i really dont like to place a taunt on everyone just to heal as her big healing is only her ult other wise and if its not up well bummer id rather use Fu instead or Hua it has better results for me at least and I'm not running out of SP with the Bronya skills. If i use Laucha unfortunately the SV passive goes out the window if they rerun him at a less new good unite heavy time i might get his signature to remove that problem and just use Loucha but till then Loucha and Galiger are a dps loss for my Blade unfortunately.

I'd say get a jingliu if u want a jingliu rather than for a blade team. Some people prefer Blade in a solo DPS team whilst others like him as a dual DPS, it normally depends on what supports someone uses. Since I like JL I decided to pull for her and I defo recommend her for anyone anyway since she is a strong unit, but I would only pull a JL if u rlly want her instead of just seeing her as an addition to blade teams

I do 2 cycles with my blade on this specific floor and 2 cycles aswell with my blackswan when ppl say they fall off just cause they have skill issue lmao but tbf maybe on blackswan on full potential will only save you 1 cycle 😅

well to say he never was is a bit harsh. he was competitive upon his release and although DHIL and JL took the #1 DPS spot when blade came out, he still remained decently competitive and still gets the job done to this day
