  • The academic section concluded with a strategic plan, and advocacy and global influence were identified as critical priorities for the section. Panelists representing key stakeholders worldwide will be invited to address the following questions related to advocacy and change management.
    1.) What has worked well in your region to shape education policy?
    2) What challenges did you face?
    3) How can the FIP academic section influence education policy in your region?
    4) What advice do you have for individuals entering this area of advocacy and policy in pharmacy education? Live participants will be encouraged to provide additional perspectives.
    Learning objectives:
    - Identify key challenges faced by academic stakeholders from around the world.
    - Discuss best practices based on regional assessment or consideration for shaping regional educational policy.
    - Explain how the FIP academic section can assist with advocacy efforts to influence education policy worldwide.
    - Share advice for individuals pursuing advocacy to facilitate policy change to advance pharmacy education worldwide.
