    Wow!. Great ideas! I had no notion such tiny fridges existed, so useful. Thank you. Xxx 😮 We're in our golden years and not the best of health so a set up like this would be very convenient. Now my mind is working overtime. I wouldn't even need to buy anything to put it on. I've often wished for something like this to keep my tea milk fresh. Hm...🤔🤗👍

    I love the idea of having artwork on the TV to make it look like a beautiful hanging portrait. I probably would do it when I have guests over or for special occasions. I'm a stickler for saving electricity and just a thought of the TV running showing different paintings every 5 minutes doesn't seem practical for my budget. I love all your tips and tricks on how to create a more beautiful home.

    Love this, what an amazing idea! I'm from the UK, am I correct in assuming that a 'principle' bedroom in the USA would be the same as a 'master' bedroom in the UK? I know your houses are so much larger than ours.

    • @gnomealone350
      @gnomealone350 ปีที่แล้ว

      It used to be called a master bedroom here in 🇨🇦 (which is where this video was made), but sometime in the recent past the name changed. Most likely the word “master” is not politically correct anymore. Too gender specific, or some such thing 🤷‍♀️.

    • @MsDrake215
      @MsDrake215 ปีที่แล้ว

      That must be a Canada thing cuz we call it master bedroom or primary bedroom in the US also 😊

    • @gkaur1522
      @gkaur1522 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're no longer called master bedrooms due to the ties of that verbiage to slavery. We're looking for houses at the moment (in the US) and no one is calling them Master Bedrooms now.

    • @MyFocusVaries
      @MyFocusVaries ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gnomealone350I don't think it's a gender issue. But it is related to modernizing language since the concept of "masters" in our society is very dated, with the term being associated with someone with authority over others.

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, we've been calling it a "primary" or "principal" bedroom instead of a master here in Canada for the last few years.

    Does the tiny refrigerator use a lot of electricity?

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It seems pretty energy efficient to me (very compact with a quiet fan). I simply unplug it when I don't need it.

    Christina. I uploaded the Vintage TV art and subscribed. But you get the ads which can be annoying. Did you find that? I don’t want to pay monthly for ad free You Tube. Love the Art work though. And LOVE your coffee/tea trolley. I guess you keep a kettle for Tea down Inside the cupboard

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I use the Nespresso machine for hot water too. I find the art slideshows are long enough that the ads don't bother me.

    Great idea for a coffee bar in bedroom but cart is too “kitcheny”

  • @hopemasike531
    @hopemasike531 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ummm... don't you get the coffee stations in hotel rooms because if you want a coffee before the breakfast buffet is open this nook is your only choice? Yet, in your own home, you can access your kitchen whenever you want and thus there is no need for bedroom coffee? Also, if you have no coffee fridge and a real picture instead of a TV displaying pictures, you would save a lot of energy, which also costs money.

    • @thediymommy
      @thediymommy  ปีที่แล้ว

      For me, it's about the luxury of having the coffee machine steps away. The TV is something we've had here for years and we don't want to remove it. 😊
