People like Tony are what make the Virgin Islands one of the most beautiful, relaxing and interesting places on this planet. Thanks for all you did for the world, Tony. RIP!
Another excellent video. Tony Snell, I am sure, a life well lived. Seems like a gentleman that you could sit with for hours and learn of ways being lost to the wind. I have known of many people like this, and miss them dearly. Thank you Rick and Michael. Larry
I got to taxi a spitfire once. Awsome plane! Well Mr. Moore, you did it. My bucket list isn't very long, and I'm picky about what goes on it, but if you tell me the Last Resort is still up and running, then the list just got longer. Hope to buy you a beer there in a couple of years. Sorry to hear about Tony.
I anchored there in the 80's and did not go to the Last Resort. I didn't realize what I was missing. We'd had a bad day and ended up picking our way through some rocks near there. I was just glad to be safely anchored.
We anchored here with a charter powerboat, summer of '85, and took the dinghy in for dinner. It was getting dark, and I ticked the prop on the reef, but made it to the dock OK. I remember Tony singing, and how much fun it was when the donkey pushed open the barn window and stuck his head in the dining room. It was hilarious. Everyone loved having the donkey drop in.

It is definitely still up and running, in fact I'll be doing a TH-cam commercial for them next season!
