    Can you control the front and rear exhaust fans separately? I'm wondering if I can use this stove in room A, but only heat another room through the rear hot air vent.

      You can only redirect the second exhaust air flow to a room of choice by using a proper hot air pipe. 👌

    Impressive. Is there a high efficiency pellet stove that will suit a rather small 1989 precast fireplace which supports a brick chimney designed for gas fires? About 5-6Kw output… external air supply and exhaust duct placed within existing chimney….?

      Answer is yes and no. You probably do have an active chimeny that will support a woodburner, pellet stove or multifuel stove, but you problably need to open out the fire place and fit a chimney liner to ensure it all works properly. You will not be able to sit a machine on your present harth and it just work, you will need to do some building work. I replaced a precast fireplace last year in my house, and lined the chimney. You need to get a professionally qualified person to check it all out for you, so what is fitted is safe and legal. I did all the haard labour, filthy jobs myself to save money, but paid a certified fitter to comission the stove to get the HETAS cert required in UK.
      It is worth it.
      House is warm, looks good and greener for the enviroment.
      I am about to convert my heating boiler to pellets.

    Good video showing quick intro to pellet heaters. Is that a 15kw heater? If so then a 15kg hopper seems a little small :) Most pellet heaters burn about 600 grams in low mode so just amazed such a high heat output heater only has a 15kg hopper. Especially if it can be ducted. Still, great video!

      Yes is 15kw heater, and yes it is 15kg hopper, in low power settings, in which most of the time we use it, takes approximately 18h to refill. ✌️

    Does it use an accelerant to start the burning process? I can't imagine the ignition is enough to start the burn.

    • @Donncada1
      @Donncada1 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      NO the electric heating element starts the burn every time. Replacement of the ignition element is regural maintenance item. They burn out. They have a life, 1 to 5 years, depending on use. They are not expensive and is you are handy with tools they are not difficult to replace. If you can change a spark plug, you can swop these out. Cleaning servicing then stove regularly helps avoiding the inconvenience of the system failing. Properly maintained these are very reliable.

    What do you mean 150m2? Is there a distribution air system?

    • @learnshare
      @learnshare  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A pellet stove with approximately 8 kW of power, enough to heat a space of more than 60 m² to 100 m², a 15kWh pellet stove heats an area around 150 m² to 210 m² ..

    Some sites selling pellet claim that there are no ' sparks ' in burning process..we can see thats not true.

    • @learnshare
      @learnshare  ปีที่แล้ว

      Making fire from wood without sparks, not so easy :). In pellet stoves it is only inside the heating chamber.
