Why do people care so much that the wrc1 cars are not production cars the public can buy? NASCAR stock cars are not real cars, a gt3 car is not the same as the street going version. F1, hypercars, lmp2 non of them are road legal cars. Yes it would be cool if I could buy a wrc car and drive it to work but I think everyone knows that, that world is gone. If you want the speed and safety required then you need bespoke race cars.
This shows how unrelated to production cars the current rally cars are. Hasn't happened since back in the Group B days. However the passion and public following is also completely unrelated to the Group B era...Why? (I know why 😞).
I think Colin does a pretty good job of ‘reading the room’ - of knowing when not to get in the face of the drivers. Often he will talk with the co-driver while the driver is psyching himself up for the stage. When you do get to interview a top driver, what do you ask them apart from, how are you feeling? What are your expectations for today?, was it your fault? How’s the car? How are the tyres? It wouldn’t be easy approaching Ott for a comment after just crashing out of the rally, but Colin did - sure he got a pretty terse response from Ott - but then a few minutes later Ott called over Colin and the other media, to show them the onboard footage. So there is clearly a mutual respect there.
Great reporting! No one does it better than DirtFish. Close the action yet keeping a sensible distance without interrupting the crew's work
"Learn From it, move on, we'll see you at the next one." Wise words.
Excellent coverage!
To bad for the fight, better for Kalle and Elfyn. That's rally!
Rally is all about crashes, punctures, smile and keep enjoying the way!
He already has 15 points in the bag, so not the biggest loss
(this points system still sucks)
1:56 lmao

But look at the Rally of Poland. This is something new and drivers see it too. Crowds of supporters and followers! Hopefully it will back as then!
can you elaborate on why the lack of interest for the current wrc compared to group B? thanks
@@dempart5558 Hint: A bunch of 18 year old kids driving what is essentially PlayStation cars down 5Km long SS.
DirtFish......you are number one...thank you.
Colin👍😀
What kind of cars are these really??
Hyundai i20 N Hybride WRC1
Szkoda chłopaków.
Miikkelsen proving why he's never gotten anywhere in wrc despite many years as a factory driver.
Stop being on a teams way, I know you guys raport action, but stay the heck out of their way..

Mikkelsen should not be driving wrc.
