1.Tyreek already rolled his windows down and handed over his information. 2. Why did the officer feel threatened by the tinted windows and not relay that in a professional manner to Tyreek? Why was it necessary for the cop to demand his windows stay down to getting out of the vehicle to opening his car and grabbing him by the neck and force him to the ground in under a minute? YES, you can. It's open season on police these days. That's with lawsuits, bs racial claims, and even targeted violently. So when a cop comes to your window, you're supposed to comply. Im very conflicted on this issue. On one hand The Officers did too much. But on the other Tyreek could’ve avoided all this! Ive been pulled over a few times and all my windows are rolled down and stay down till the officer is done. Had a bad experience with one cop but for the most part it has gone smooth.
Tyreek could've avoided all that in the first place. Where he f'd up the most was rolling up a tinted window. Cop or not I don't know what you have in the vehicle. I don't feel bad for Hill at all.
With all due respect, this cop has a jacket filled with excessive force complaints, written reprimands and suspension. How can you possibly say that everything would have been fine, if he complied. Campbell was polite and cooperative but he said he wasn't leaving. He was cuffed because he wouldn't move his car. The proper remedy for parking in the wrong place is to have your car towed. Hill was a jerk, but it's legal to be a jerk.
The problem is that cops think that people have to listen to their every order on a traffic stop. But people only need to obey LAWFUL orders. There is no law stating that your window has to be down during a stop.
Amen brother! You are exactly right! And when Tyreek said you can't tell me what to do, he probably really thought that, because he's never let anybody tell him what to do in any situation
I watch a lot of law and crime 3-4 officer always shows up. Tyreek was not compliant but some cops give you 5-7 chances to comply before they drop you. The people of this country are always on edge with the amount of violence that happen the norm is to assume that everyone has a gun
“What if I wasn’t Tyreek Hill?” I dunno man, maybe you should’ve just complied. Stop with the victim mentality. You’re successful as hell, but you’re acting like you’re better than others or above the law and that’s what’s going to set you back and this is a prime example of that.

Speeding and lack of seatbelt is a simple traffic stop. There is nothing ILLEGAL about being disobedient to unlawful orders, being a loud mouth, rolling your windows up and leaving the car running. NONE of that is ILLEGAL! The cop didn't like Tyreke's attitude and let his own ego get in the way of doing his job correctly. Just go back to your car and write your ticket like a good little public servant! But instead he let his ego takeover and escalated the situation.

Gotta love two grown men (Hill and Campbell) blatantly lying to cover up their disrespect towards police authority and disregard for personal accountability.
Keep licking them boots man! Besides the simple traffic violation, Tyreke did nothing ILLEGAL. It's not illegal to be disrespectful. It's not illegal to roll your windows up. It's not illegal to tell them to not bang on your windows. He is under no legal obligation to cooperate. And you're still going to back the cops for yanking him out of the car, shoving him to the ground and handcuffing him? Over a simple traffic violation? Really?!! That's the society you want to live in and give the cops that much power?! These officers need to dismiss their egos!
@@tomgunnz007Under federal law, exit orders are permitted for the driver and any passengers of a lawfully stopped motor vehicle. People should really wait until the whole story comes out before making a judgement. I’m glad I watched the body cam footage which tells a completely different story.
It was completely UNNECESSARY for Tyreek to tell the cops to not knock on his window and then roll the window up on the police. All he had to do is what millions of Americans already know and that's follow a lawful order from a police officer. Period.
Tyreek says, he was given advice by people he respects and they told him, put your hands on the wheel and listen. That advice made Tyreek say don't tap on my window, don't tap on my window, don't tap on my window, don't tap on my window, don't tap on my window, don't tap on my window, then proceeds to roll window up, while the officer is trying to explain to him why he was pulled over, so much for taking the advice of listening. Then the officer asks him to roll the window down multiple times. Tyreek rolls window down 2 inches, the officer says roll it all the way down, he refuses. Then Hill is pulled out of the car by people of color, put into handcuffs while still refusing lawful orders being made to him. Tyreek is asked to sit down and what does he do, again so much for the listening part. he refuses and keeps standing, then is forcefully pushed down to the ground until he sits. When is the black community going to realize why they keep getting lead poisoning when it comes to traffic stops, they either run away, they either drive off resulting in a chase or they do things like this and the black community wants us to have sympathy for them, they want us to better understand the racism that they face everyday in society. Maybe the black community should take responsibility for their actions they created and not made up racism they have been told they endure everyday. He should have went to jail, car impounded, forced to post bail and lose a games pay for what would have been a simple ticket by simply putting his hands on the wheel and listened.
This is some ol BS. Hill could've avoided all of this. I got pulled over 3 different times. I was super respectful to the cops, and one incent I told the cop I know why you pulled me over for not going to a complete stop at the stop sign. After I gave him my license i told I was rushing to go to work and that's my bad. He saw I was in uniform and let me go.

You can't speed through a construction zone and act like you did nothing wrong. I don't care who you are. All he had to do was leave the window down and give him the license. Things escalated out of hand from that point. The second officer was definitely aggresive
Tyreek should have followed his uncle’s advice: “Put your hands on the steering wheel and just listen.” If you watch the bodycam video, you’ll see he didn’t do that. There are separate and fair question as to whether a) the officer's command to roll down his window was lawful and b) how they should have responded when he failed to comply. Bottom line: HIll definitely acted the fool, and the cop MAY have been too aggressive.

You know why. Just as most intelligent people know why he was treated the way he was treated. Tyreek was wrong in how he handled the cops approach. He was put on the hot pavement or sat down forcibly due to running his mouth...Cop's don't want to be showed up anymore than you or I. Clearly he wanted to show that he didn't have to give any credence to their inquiries, although he may have been in the wrong, i.e. allegedly speeding. Had he been more intelligent in his actions/responses, it may not have come to this. Intelligent people carry themselves in a respectful fashion, ignorant adjectives don't.
Stephen A you want to use the word allegedly speeding when the body cam footage clearly shows he was flying by from the opposite direction speeding!!!!!!
How is Tyreek wrong? Could he of been nicer? Yes, but that is not required. He has an expensive car and is famous, why would he sit there with the windows open? If I owned an expensive car and an officer knocked hard on the window, I would get upset also. COPS have GUNS, they need to be trained to not have a temper tantrum, and to handle rude people without getting an attitude back. Tyreek was not wrong, do not fault people that act normal towards police, nobody is the same and nobody needs to act a specific was just because officers feel they require respect. The TRAINING needs to be looked at, that is the problem. The training and the higher up, up to the Governor of Florida. Change needs to happen with Police Training.

The truth is, if you don’t work in law enforcement, you don’t understand law enforcement. You don’t know why an officer always has to see your hands. Why you need to listen to commands. Why there is such a thing as passive resistance. Some officers may loose their jobs because someone felt entitled. If everyone had to live the life of an officer for a week then everyone would understand why some things are done. But there are always bad people in every profession unfortunately. I just don’t think so in this case.
How about treating the law enforcement officers with respect? Open the window and be civil, do not act like an entitled brat! It is not about race, it is about being a civil respectful citizen.
Thanks Steven A for voicing how most black men in this country feel about this situation. So glad you have a platform where you can keep it real without the threat of being fired.
Why is that black men dont think they have to follow the rules? If a cop tells you to do something you do it, You dont argue, you dont get rude, you dont just do whatever you want. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Keep your cockholster shut and follow orders. I have been stopped multiple times by police. I have never been treated the way he was because I respect the authority and do as I am told. It has nothing to do with race, it has everything to do with respect.
I would like to know why he lied and all the propaganda machines jumped on the race card lie without the fact. I'm glad he didn't. But no one is talking about what everyone would be saying had he killed someone. that just happened with an nlf player recently. No one is bringing that up. And the other player that fell out of his expensive luxury car because he was wasted. Stop making excuses for the thugs with money.
What Smith is saying here didn't happen. They forced him to sit because he wouldn't do it himself. They put him face down because they can't put the cuffs on him if he's face up. Just because the police know who someone is doesn't mean he isn't a danger.
Yes, the police were too aggressive and the first officer should have kept his cool but he didn't which is really bad on his part but why is Hill lying and being respectful when he cause the cop to get angry by telling him not to touch his windows, because how else was the cop going to signal Hill to roll the windows down?🤦🏾♂️ plus he rolled it back up which isn't the best course of action.
I think the police officers went WAY overboard by throwing him on the ground. However Hill was not complying or cooperating with them. They would do the same with me if I wouldn’t lower my window and not talk like a normal person.
I’m asking why, too. Why does Hill feel like he needs to prove something? Why didn’t he just keep the window down, which is not an unreasonable ask, and get his ticket and go about his day? Why did he put his and his teammates’ lives in potential danger for no reason at all except for who he is? Why does he think he doesn’t have to keep his window down like everybody else? And now, why did the cop feel the need for so much aggression? What did he have to prove, that he isn’t going to treat somebody nicely just because they’re in a nice car? Why is a cop’s first instinct always to ESCALATE a situation instead of de-escalate a situation? Why did he not follow protocol? Why would he put his and his fellow officers’ lives in danger, because what if the driver DID HAVE a weapon and reached for it while he was pulling him out of the vehicle? So many questions on all sides.
This had nothing to do with him being black, all he had to do was listen to the officers commands but instead he refused them. He should’ve went to jail for going 50-60 mph over the speed limit

We gotta stop doing this. I think the officers handled this terribly and should be retrained but, we as black men have to stop putting ourselves in this situation. It never benefits you to match the officer's negative energy. Just comply, get the ticket, and file a complaint later. There's too much at stake to try to challenge authority in that moment
Please address the fact that Tyreek Hill was disrespectful to the officers, he refused to keep his window rolled down. If Tyreek Hill was respectful and kept his window down, he would not have been placing handcuffs.
Tyrese acted like a toddler and got treated like one, as he should. We don't know how fast he was going, but the Miami-Dade police said he was driving at a speed that wasn't safe for the other drivers around. Very easy to go way over the speed limit in a McLaren. Tyreek admits he was rushing to get to the game, so there's admission of guilt. When officers arrive at the scene, they don't know why he was speeding. They don't know who he is. They don't know if the car was just stolen, or was trying to flee from another crime. They have no idea of anything, and it is for their safety and the safety of everyone around, to get to the bottom of why he was speeding. This is why you must have your windows down and you must comply with their lawful commands, and Tyreek was given many lawful commands. Instead of being cooperative, Tyreek acted like a fool, complaining about his window being knocked on. After he finally rolled his window down, he rolled it back up. Officers still haven't had a chance to ID him and figure out who he is. Why does Tyreek think he's above the law in this situation and doesn't have to comply? He rolled down the window just barely taunting the officers. It's kind of like when I tell my toddler to stop jumping on the couch, and they proceed to bounce instead of jump, pushing that line and testing your authority. And that's what Tyreek did. He acted like a toddler and then was correctly treated like one. I have no sympathy for Tyreek and am 100% on the side of law enforcement on this one. Could they have tried to de-escalate more? Perhaps. He saw I was in uniform and let me go.
what’s sad is that if that wasn’t tyreek hill, nobody would care and nothing would be done
I really wish you would have waited for the body cam to come out before saying anything about it yesterday
Playing the race card the way Tyreek did was shameful.
Specially shameful when the cops involved during the altercation had Cuban-American accents.
So...was it provoked and necessary?
@@m_rod9562yes I agree...you would think they'd be a little more understanding and tolerant
@@justmeuncty No, cops was unpatient and this is bad. But that don't trumps fact, that Hill was behaving like a asshole.
@@justmeuncty why in the world would a cop be tolerant to someone who’s doing criminal speed, being uncooperative, wont stfu for 1 minute, no seat belt on, car on, and dark windows up. Bruh, do you hear yourself ?
Everything prior to the cuffing was mostly justified imo. Everything after was not, however.
Hill brought ALL of this on himself
Not sharing body cam. Steven A creating more division. Go to Marcellus Wiley for honest reporting. On short, Latino officer lost control of emotions because Hill was being a douchebag. Both men didn't know how to act like men.
Both should learn from this. But Steven A will only put this one sided junk out for clicks
Yup, they were both acting like azzholes, although I personally side more with the officer. Tyreek was being combative for absolutely no reason.
Thank you. Somebody with common sense analyzing it with a clear perspective. Yes, the officer did power trip to some extent, but TH from the start was rude, uncooperative and felt ridiculously entitled. Who tells a police officer “do what ya gotta do” and rolls the window up? Any civilian would be jailed immediately. Just act respectful and conduct yourself accordingly, like you say your mother raised you to be( aside from all the DV cases on his rap sheet).
His breakdown was so good and level headed.
Stephen A in the first place, if he roll down his windows ,showed his drivers license , car reg. proof of insurance thats supposed to be AUTOMATIC , NONE of this had happened , simple PERIOD!
I’m a black man and I’m SICK of how stupid we like to act after we do the wrong.
No Accountability
@@bezmoney none whatsoever. Weak
For a more reasonable take on this watch Marcellus Wiley’s take on this. He failed to comply multiple times, his teammates were in the wrong by blocking traffic putting everyone at risk. The cop was not free of guilt but this is 100 percent not a race thing
The police had a car with smoked glass, consciously was a black man who did not want to cooperate with the police. Stop crying, we should just discuss the methods that the police use ...
They already had his license. BTW, how does any of that justify the choke hold while he was already in cuffs.
I saw the bodycam footage...first thing I notice..."don't knock on my window like that" (entitlement)....second thing...."keep your window rolled down" (disobedience/passive escalation)....that's all I needed to see.
T Hill was WRONG….! My son is 32 and I told him from the time he started driving at 16, “you follow the law” - you don’t, there is consequences. If you get pulled over, you do what you are told as if it was “me telling/ talking to you” - if you don’t obey the officers, you are disrespectful…. Well, they may pull you out of that seat!
Disrespect and breaking the law are 2 different things. You don’t have to respect anyone as long as you’re not doing anything illegal
@@bobbysteptoe4672 honestly read what you just said, please. You are part of the problem, respectfully- If you think you do not have to show any respect to anyone at any time just bcause you are not doing anything illegal? I hope you honestly just rethink about how you honestly treat people daily -
Tyreek actually went out of his way to roll down his window and play stupid games. Tyreek was yelling at the Officer with his window rolled down as he was getting pulled over. As soon as he stopped, rolled up his window then flipped attitude to the officer who asked him to roll down the window. SMH. You can’t make this up. Cops overreacted but Tyreek also contributed to the stupidity of the situation.
Lol homeboy rolls up on cops, blocks traffic, gets out of the car, and says he's Tyreek's homie and thinks that's a de-escalation.... LMFAO. Bro...... People play the race card for everything.
Roll your window down and do what they want...did you not watch his attitude..above the law....nope!
Somewhat Complying vs Fully Complying !!! Do you guys know the difference?!
I am not with you SAS. Roll your window, be nice to the cop and nothing would’ve happened.
After watching the body cam, both Tyreek and the cops were in the wrong.
Thank you. They BOTH did some dumb shit. And if he wasn’t rich/famous, he’d probably be dead or badly injured right now.
Glad someone said it
Please clarify in what aspect? You shouldn’t have to ask, but wanting someone to not damage your property is wrong?
@@KRamOfficialTH-cam WRONG on all fronts. Way to many folks have a nasty attitude and zero character. Change needs to start at home and in the community. It's a shame we do not hear that from so called leaders. Open your eyes and look at our cities and towns.
I agree with this completely minus the black men part. Race has nothing to do with it as it’s anyone who feels entitled and privaledged!
He shoulda been suspended from the game.
Stephen A Snitch
Yes, the police were too aggressive and the first officer should have kept his cool but he didn't which is really bad on his part but why is Hill lying and being respectful when he cause the cop to get angry by telling him not to touch his windows, because how else was the cop going to signal Hill to roll the windows down?🤦🏾♂️ plus he rolled it back up which isn't the best course of action.
I think the police officers went WAY overboard by throwing him on the ground. However Hill was not complying or cooperating with them. They would do the same with me if I wouldn’t lower my window and not talk like a normal person.
Had that been the case the officers wouldn’t currently be on desk duty, there was no need to handcuff or pin anyone to the ground

I saw the little CNN interview with Tyreek Hill and that was shameful. I’m embarrassed for him.
OH PLEASE ! HOTT GROUND LOL Police dont know who behind the dark tint glass !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Both parties are too blame. Tyreek wasn’t being respectful at all and the cops lost his chill.
The fomo was speeding ,& not cooperating .What do you mean WHY!!!😂😂😂
Those are just facts, you’re spewing. 😂😂
Please address the fact that Tyreek Hill was disrespectful to the officers, he refused to keep his window rolled down. If Tyreek Hill was respectful and kept his window down, he would not have been placing handcuffs.
Stephen doesn’t have time for messy facts.
Perhaps. But in all honesty, I am tired of so many people thinking they are entitled to act like a childish fool, and everyone else around them has to bend over backwards to make them as comfortable as possible. Grow up.
He broke the law, disrespect the officers and didn’t cooperation till he was detained… are you kidding me … He has Dark tinted windows officers have been shot during traffic stops … dude thinks he’s above the law cause he’s in the NFL
This is nothing new.I once had a friend who was pulled over by the police. After checking his driver's license they told him he could leave. He then screamed at them "Why the F did you stop me"? They pulled him out of the car, assaulted him and took him to jail. This occurred in the 80's.
I hope you watch the body cam then retract any statements you are making
The best thing a black person with influence can do for their community is to hold his brothers and sisters accountable. Tyreek was acting like a spoiled child. Could the cop handle it better? Yes, but we must remember cops are human too. If someone acted like that towards me, I'd act a certain way, too, whatever the race is. And if you really think cops are out there to get you, why won't you promote to act better and comply instead of antagonizing them? The truth is Tyreeks actions were unacceptable for any race, or social status. We got to hold that type of action accountable and discourage it.
Non-compliance on behalf of Tyreek. You’re welcome, Stephen.
